So the legend of la llorana is real My grandmother lived in these experimental homes where she could live for free and she tells me stories that when she was growing up she new this woman named la llorana and she was kinda crazy and the homes were near a river and she heard sceaming at the house and eventually they all got up and left and when the mother came home she didnt bring the children with her

I was literally just at the Double Eagle a few weeks ago, I live right at the edge of Mesilla and it's definitely a neat little town. Billy the Kid was arraigned in the courthouse before he busted out and was killed in the late 1800's.

I live in Las Cruces and Mesilla is a really nice little tourist area. The double eagle is actually haunted I can confirm that. A friend of mine used to work there in sophomore year of high school and she said glasses would fall off the shelves and you could feel someone behind you every time you were alone. She also mentioned that once a wine bottle shattered inside the wine rack, no one was near it.

I live in las cruces too! And yes it’s definitely haunted.. my dad did some work at the double eagle restaurant back in the early to mid 2000s and they said the same thing your friend said. . There’s a few creepy locations here , have you heard of the devils church or the lake hangar ?

I grew up in New Mexico and one of my strongest memories from my time there was waking up in the middle of the night with a tall, bald, faceless figure standing outside of my window. It felt like a dream kind of because I don’t remember being as scared as I should, but it was so vivid. I had other friends in the neighborhood and one of them said the same thing happened to her
