My side hustle was having tenants in my home I lived in. I have a large home and I wasn't utilizing it to it's fullest. It's not for everyone because you don't really have privacy as you did before but also you have to always be upbeat and "on" as far as personality. Nobody wants to live with a grouch....ha ha. Anyway, you need to screen them well and listen to your gut. It can be quite lucrative though. I did it for 17 years and sometimes I had as many as 4 tenants at once and that could pay my mortgage. So glad you moved and found something better. I know you loved that house but the woman next door was literally insane. Now, it appears this house is close to everything and it was just meant to be. Don't apologize for taking a break because you were trying to figure out what you needed to do for you and your family. You absolutely did the right thing. 👍😁

What a brutal house search! Family moves have required incredible persistence, leg work, and luck. My nephew (small city to large) and sister (small city to tiny village) both struggled with many changes and the same house search difficulties. life is lifing!!! i am glad that you and yours are healthy, and that you are back. it was you who helped me get on the goal to becoming debt free. I originally did that, but then i was a back slider and i am back in debt since my daughters passing away and my grandson now living with me. He is now a senior, he hasn't decided what he wants to do in the future! and this year is so expensive......but i did have a side hustle until recently, once my car was paid for,,,,i am now only working 4 hours a month at the side hustle, but still have my regular full time job.....and that is plenty! anywho....glad you are back and i am looking forward to future videos!!

Glad you are back. You were missed. Once a week videos sounds great, hope that works for you. Please don’t let your child or you accumulate debt for college. My niece went to community college and then transferred to a State University. She did everything possible to pay as little as possible for college, graduated with high honors and no debt. She went on to get a great job with the World Bank making great money and lots of opportunities. Going the community college and state university route isn’t a handicap. Having college debt is a long term disability!

It's good to see you back and away from that neighbor! I had neighbors from hell ABOVE me who did not like the sound of my child's little feet running UNDER them at reasonable hours and decided to harass me and my child for months until I finally called the police and the police weren't helpful and told me to just move because they will continue to harm me. I lived in fear and had to leave with family while still paying rent and then after finally finding another apartment, I had to move my belongings and it was scary going into my old apartment to move my stuff knowing they were harassing me and calling the police whenever I came to clean, stating I am causing noise. Mind you, they were so noisy and would deliberately make noise for hours on my ceiling in the middle of night and early mornings to not let us sleep. It was so traumatic that I had health problems from this and till now I have PTSD from it after so many years from that terrible experience. It was so scary not knowing whether they had a gun and can hurt me and my child. I am so glad you left that experience!

I’m so sorry - yes, I can 💯 relate. I also think I’ll have lifelong PTSD, which is why I don’t like to talk about it. It took at least two years for me to feel safe at home again. HUGS! ❤️

I feel for you! I'm so sorry, too! You didn't deserve that! I hope the new place is the place of your dreams and very relaxing and makes you forget everything that happened in the previous house! I think I actually like what you did Dana. It is good to see an example of someone who has too much on and then something has to give. I always loved your videos as you were a great role model but still so real (hence it was wort listening to what you said). And now I feel again that you thought us something really valuable, this time about taking a break, sacrificing something you love temporarily for the greater good etc. (I feel women with children have to do this from time to time on a greater or smaller scale).
