Your voice is so chill and calming. Your the Bob Ross of board gaming.

I honestly really like and enjoy your videos, you're a very relatable person, and the little bit of anxiousness makes it easier to understand what you really enjoy about these games

I am glad you like the video. I am working on a number of things currently. I am hopping to get them up soon. Time is a premium right with with a 4y/o.

Also, 😃 I think the biggest difference between board games and video games is "the cost of not saving". If you ever mess up bad in a video game, you can reload a save file (or just inconveniently respawn). In the video games where you can't do this (like fighting games) the punishment is just a quick respawn or another quick match with players more on your level. It's rare to find video games where messing up can cost so much without going back (like Rust for instance). But in board games/card games, there is virtually no going back. Every move has a heavy weight of permanence tugging at it, reminding you of consequences to come and much time spent. Or at least it feels that way.

I wonder if you would mind enabling the cc. I am having a bit of trouble understanding. Edit: alternatively you could hold the box up and hold it still so we can read the title. I missed the first game entirely. Great video, I want to try some of these games and perhaps purchase them for my family.

I just bought the LOTR game for Christmas. Learning it right now. Luckily for me I have a friend with lots of expansion packs I can play with. Good list brother.

I am glad you like the video. I hope to have a few more up of me playing some of the games solo so you can get a feel for the game. I have to reshoot a few because I keep forgetting a rule or outright screwing them up lol.

Interesting and enjoyable video. I only play solo, so any new ideas or lists are great to see. Due to chronic health problems I've not played anything for sometime but your video encouraged me to maybe get something to the table. I own many of the same games as you and am always fascinated by the different order and views of all the gamers out there. I recently watched the original 1978 Dawn of the Dead film. A free print and play game based on that film is available. You have to print out the board and one sheet of tokens and your good to go. Off topic... that couch looks mighty comfy! Thanks for uploading.

I’m glad you like the vid. I am trying to make more board game videos, but with a 3 year old it’s really hard. That’s why I play solo a lot. I would love to have a regular game not. Maybe when he is older. I have the pnp dawn of the dead game but never printer it out. The couch isn’t very comfortable. Needs more back support lol.

I think it would help to have some visual cues on the screen. Sometimes you got to talking about a game for a few minutes and I couldn't remember what game you were talking about or which number you were on.

I love mage knight and I recently got it for Christmas this year and it's really hard to play if you're a beginner

So far I have played Mage Knight correctly a total of 0 times. Every time I forget a rule or do a rule wrong. Sometimes in my favor but most of the time I do it wrong against me. I hope to have a video up soon on how to play.

Marcos Gaona - As a new gamer to Mage Knight as well, I highly recommend watching the videos posted by Ricky Royal. Search him or Box of Delights. Extremely helpful videos.

+EHngel that's what I did before I even got it for Christmas and I really enjoy his channel but, his walkthroughs helped me learn the game in an instant even though I feel like a dummy for making mistakes which people easily do in mage knight

What card deck boxes do you use? Like the ones you show with the LOTR game?
@pOedGamerQuehegan
@pOedGamerQuehegan 6 жыл бұрын
They are MTG commander deck from Ultra-pro. They are a lot bigger so they can hold a 100 card commander deck with a 15 card sideboard. They are great for holding games that have a lot of cards.

I've downloaded every game from Dwarfstar Games (Barbarian Prince) and wasn't aware of Dragon Rage being from that company. I bought Dragon Rage two years ago (I have the remake) and it's really good. It's a neat list, and I look forward to playing Barbarian Prince. :)

I love the games from Dwarfstar. I have 4 of their games I bought a number of years ago. I have since downloaded all of the games. I really enjoy Dragon Rage and Demon lord. It's just hard to find people that will play some of the older games.

The remastered edition of Dragon Rage is really neat. It can compete with the games today about layout. If I should make a comparison I would compare it to Britannia (the old version - I don't have the new). That's obvious because Lewis Pulsipher designed Britannia. ;) The counters are like Britannia and the map is better. The two rule books are easy to read and there are reference guides on the back (attacker vs defender combat strength). One game manual and one rules reference. Do the original have a duel map? One on the city of Esirien and the other of the orc settlement Nurkott? It's hilarious to witness orcs as the good guys as they battle a dragon, dinosaurs or giants....or the city guard or adventures. I like to make little adjustments to the scenarios. ;)

+sean gordon A game store went out of business and I bought one over everyone they had. I think I paid about $2 each. I haven't been able to play it much so that is why I haven't opened them yet.

+sean gordon I loved the store and when it closed I was sad. They discounted their games 80% because they had to get rid of everything. I spent way to much money that day but I couldn't pass up that good of a deal. I got the majority of my game of thrones and call of cathulu LCG expansions that day.

Where are the solo war games? There are a ton of them out there...
@pOedGamerQuehegan
@pOedGamerQuehegan 6 жыл бұрын
I have just stared to get into war games. I have a lot of them. Mostly older ones that I found at a half price books really cheap. Most people I know don’t play them and most are complex to learn on your own. I have been watching a few vids on some to try and do solo plays on them but I keep getting confused on some of the rules. Also having to leave a game up for days is a little difficult with a 3 year old lol. When I get a few games under my belt I am going to do a video over war games.

may i suggest you stand up for your videos. too little energy. also waving tiny things at a camera that’s eight feet away doesn’t exactly convey what in the hell they are.
