Sonic colors is bad because it has 1 good level per area and then all of the others are bad,boring and there to pad out the game the voice acting and writing is bad and the best part of this game is act 1 and Nega wisp

@@hammerbro2833 That isn't true atleast not entirely, Aquarium Park Act 6 and 4 completely blow Act 1 out of the water. Tropical Resort Act 2, 3 and 5 were pretty good, Sweet Mountain Act 2, 3, and 5 were good. Starlight Carnival Act 5 was good, etc. Colors has alot of good stages the problem is they are short (atleast alot of them are if you play the game like Unleashed) and because they are so short alot of them fail to get off the ground properly sometimes leading to them being inferior to the Act 1s. Generally speaking there is atleast 2-3 good levels in Colors' worlds excluding Terminal Velocity. The game probably would have been better off merging stages but for what it is now they are still pretty good. Aquarium Park alone just destroys only the Act 1s are good mentality. Were 6 acts to many? Yes. Were only the Act 1s good? No.

Shadow the Hedgehog is a game that I can laugh at bc how ridiculous some things are, but still love as you get choices, but if you want you can still just run through. And then with super Shadow. I rarely see people who look past the edge to see the enjoyable gameplay of it, but you obviously have great taste. EDIT: and "I Am" is a really fucking hype song.

I love the dark tone cuz I’m a guy who loves amazing story telling, every Sonic game had a dope story from Sonic 2 all the way up till black Knight. Colors and everything afterward though had terrible cringe dialogues, though I do enjoy the gameplay from colors (ds specifically, I thought wii version was okay) & gens, but that’s it after that it wasn’t until mania another godly game came, but yeah back to shadow, shadow I actually find hilarious with a gun too but I also think the mechanic is fun, though the game does have flaws.

I don’t like Shadow the hedgehog unless as mostly everybody agrees your playing neutrally because the thing is first of you have to play Westopolis 10 times to finish the game second of even in westopoilis the hero and dark missions are annoying and that’s nothing compared to the ark mission which have a bug. Basically one of the missions is you have to kill a lot of gun soldiers but in the last room sometimes one of the soldiers doesn’t load causing thousands of people to keep restarting the stage. I wouldn’t say it’s worse than 06 but I wouldn’t choose to play it.

I’ve played a lot of sonic, but the three games that mean the most to me are sonic heroes, sonic unleashed, and sonic colors Edit: I decided to come back to this video and give my complete thoughts this time around Dang my 2 favorites are at the very bottom. That’s fine I’m just glad they’re on there period. Heroes was my first sonic game and one of my first video games in general and sold me on sonic, the levels, music, gameplay, it’s all great to me. Sonic unleashed was one that I played very often as a kid as well. I didn’t own it myself, it belonged to my friend but he never played it often. Whenever me and my other friends went over to his house we would either play some multiplayer wii games or all 3 would just kick back and watch me play unleashed. Some of my fondest memories are from unleashed as little 8 year old me poured hours into it, getting lost in the relaxing music of the night stages and the super fast day levels. Sometimes I would just roam around the temples as the werehog listening to the music that played there and it’s one of my favorite songs in all sonic and gaming as a whole. Both heroes and unleashed are etched into my very being and while I really love other sonic games like colors for example none will ever come close to the permanent emotional impact they left on me

Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 will always be my favourite Sonic games, and just some of my favourite games in general. I admire and certainly enjoy the 2D titles, I'm just bad at them and I absolutely hate lives systems. I would enjoy Sonic Mania so much more without that.

Advance 1 and rush are probably considered spinoffs due to being on handhelds for this mainly home console series. I do think they are great games. Unsure on CD.

No one hates "Sonic Adventure". People hate "Sonic Adventure DX" and its various ports. Every complaint and snide meme about the gameplay of "Sonic Adventure" that you hear basically only applies to DX and ports, not to the original.

Adventure DX on the gamecube isn’t too much of a downgrade. But the PC, Xbox, PS3 ports are when they were super glitchy and the iconic Emerald Coast glitch wasn’t even in the original game

It's the same exact game. Regardless of what version it is, Tails is still a copy of Sonic that skips each level, Big is slow and fishing is boring albeit easy, Amy is too slow, voice acting is bad, animations are lazy, etc. Sure, later ports are unpolished, but most of Adventure's flaws have been there since the Dreamcast.

No, grinding was a feature before the soap shoes sponsorship, Sonic Team just created this mechanic since that's cool and interesting, the soap shoes promotion came way after they implemented the rail grinding in the game.

It is literally amazing that we share the same idea of the best Sonic game to a certain degree. Watching the video I've prayed "let Sonic 3 & Knuckles be his favorite Sonic game". Being able to transform into Hyper Sonic in that game was a whole new experience. But it really caught me off guard that Sonic Mania has been your favorite Sonic game putting Sonic 3 & Knuckles on second place. To me, Sonic Mania has been great. But it recycled to many stages from the originals in my opinion with the new additions not being very original in the first place. There you have it. I said something negative about Sonic Mania. Deal with it :-)
