HAPPY NEW YEAR! Love to see the Armored Spidey get some recognition, as it was one of my favorite looks in the comics (despite only appearing once) and the updated version in the PS4 game had me ecstatic and playing in that outfit for a good while. The Amazing Friends Spidey (in the 3 pack) is my personal favorite ML Spidey--the body of AF but classic colors with the darker blue I prefer (but not RYV dark). I can under stand people passing on the 3 pack to get it, but I think anyone that does is/will be pleasantly surprised.

My top 3 is: 3) Amazing Fantasy Spider-Man 2) The Animated Series Spider-Man 1) Renew Your Vows Spider-Man. For me these action figures are the very best Marvel Legends Spider-Men we've got last year. I'm looking forward to see which new Spider-Men Hasbro we'll give us this year, especially since we got a new Spider-Man movie in June. I'm very excited that the next Spider-Man action figure we'll be an updated version of Insomiac Spider-Man, with an updated scuplt and gadgets.

Ah man what a tough year to pick a favourite Legends Spidey from. I agree with some of the other commenters, we need an updated Scarlet Spider on a pinless body. My top 3:- 1. Amazing Fantasy (love me that mask and colour palette). 2. Ben Reilly Spider-Man (for my childhood comic book self). 3. Renew Your Vows Spidey (that classic look on a pin-free body is chef’s kiss!). On my display, I’ve actually got the Ben head on the RYV body and vice versa. Transforms both of the figures to how I see the characters in my minds eye. Ben Reilly’s mask to me is the version drawn by Mark Bagley in the 90s, with those huge the eyes. Happy New Year mate and keep up the awesome work! 👏

@@valen_alberti Ah man, it’s just such an iconic look and the figure really does it justice. The Ditko styling takes me back to when I was a kid and decided to delve into the early comics. I fell in love with the character because of the 90s Animated series but discovering the comics was a whole other revelation. Good luck man. Hope you figure out which to get, or find a way to get both!

Good list. I can't wait for updates on Spider-Carnage and Scarlet Spider. I had Spider-Carnage as a kid. But I missed out on all the Scarlet Spider releases. I've seen a great custom Scarlet Spider using the new Daredevil body. We just need more hands. 4 sets minimum.

Ben is first for me. The ONE Spider-man that going into 2022 I KNEW I had to get. Yes, I have all of these, but MAN, what a year for Spider-man. HOWEVER I can definitely agree with your top 1 pick Dan. I might say, you were without a doubt MY favorite reviewer this year and currently, it's always a blast watching your reviews, it's never a drag like other reviewers who do nothing but complain. You point out the cons and wants of every figure but you do so in a fun and loving manner so you're much more enjoyable to watch than anyone else doing this out there. Here's to a grand 2023!

I don't have all Marvel Legends Spidey's from 2022 but my rank is 1. RYV Spider-Man with the badass Ben Reilly Spider-Man head 2. First Appearance Spider-Man because the head has those Steve Ditko looking eyes and wished he came with an unmasked Steve Ditko looking FA Peter Parker head sculpt 3. Spider-Man the Animated Series retro Spider-Man but wished he was on the Renew Your Vows Spider-Man body 4. retro carded symbiote Spider-Man because he gives me 1984 Secret Wars vibes with those small looking eyes 5. Supaidaman but wished he did came with another 3rd set of wide open hands 6. Bombastic Bag Man because he go great with the retro carded blue and white suited Fantastic Four figures 7. Iron Spider because he shoulda come with a pair of wide open hands along with the waldoes being more articulated 8. Ben Reilly Spider-Man because he needed an unmasked Ben Reilly head 9. MK armor 1because he needed another set of hands 10 Stealth Future Foundation Spidey but not the regular Future Foundation Spidey that everyone wanted

Personally I'd have Amazing Friends at #4 instead of the cel-shaded look. The shading really limits his use in displays, plus the colors are too muted.

Renew your Vows Spider-man is a Variant from the Spiderverse as he and Spinnerette and their daughter Anna May Parker are from Earth-18119 and not the 616 of the original Spider-man. So you broke your own rules saying there were not Spiderverse figure in your top 10! Anna May is the Patternmaker in the comics reweaving the Web of Life and Destiny Earth-001. So tour number 1 figure is not the true 616 Spider-man but a variant and they costume as not the original or the current Spider costume in the comics. The Spider-man and his Amazing Friends Spider-man should have been in the top 3 of not number 1 hands down!!!!
