Agree. One of the most unique and magical places on the planet. Went to Madeira from Australia in 2015 with my partner who was born there. We started our 9 week tour of Europe in Madeira. We would add ... Levada walks... Nun's Valley, Cabo Girao... Glass clifftop platform.

I would come back there tomorrow. I brag on it nearly every day at my treasure museum. My favorite Island so far. It was a great choice for a honeymoon. That’s a great time to go! Another hike is the Verda das 25 fontes which is beautiful and very easy. For something more challenging, try eagle rock!
