_All_ manufacturers have their problems: I had a Honda 400 that puked its mechanical cam chain tensioner , another that chewed up its starter after only 1 year (FT500) , and a third had a history of failed hydraulic cam chain tensioners (fortunately didn't happen to me). The power valves on my RZ350LC didn't always complete their decarbonization cycle upon startup after a couple years like they were supposed to, and the carb & shock bushings on my XR650R were total shite. And, no, I don't flog my machines or ignore the maintenance. The thing is that on a dyno the CB is down almost 20 hp compared to the outgoing GSX-S1000. It “only” puts down 125 whp, which a Z900 can do with a different exhaust system and an ECU flash. EDIT: not saying it’s a bad bike. Far from it actually, but it doesn’t have the performance to compete with the supernakeds.
@KB-yj5xp3 жыл бұрын
@@frenchtoast-d7u I’ve seen comparisons which said the cb has better suspension and better handling than the gsxs which likely negates the extra hp that the Suzuki has. I think the Honda is a better bike because the list shouldn’t just be based on dyno results. You can click my profile and see my other bike (I haven’t filmed my cb yet) it’s a modded Z900rs. The rs has about 10 hp less than the regular z900 but mine is flashed with a full exhaust upgraded brakes, upgraded front and rear suspension and I can tell you the stock cb is considerably faster and sharper in every way, and the regular z900 has lower spec suspension than the rs. I would put the Suzuki and the Honda basically even and put both at the bottom of the supernaked list, but just because they are at the bottom doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be there, I think they deserve to be on a top 10 list. But that’s just me, besides I can’t argue with someone that has such a tasty name, just needs some maple syrup!

Z1000, S1000R, ZH2 and MT10 are perfect super nakeds. They have fat fuel tank flanked by the air intakes that give them a macho, fat and muscular look. An aggressive Transformer dragon head on the front and the lamps are the eyes of the transformer. Hyper or super naked should be a small skinny bike like the size of 125cc or 250cc bikes. They are big cc bike, nearly 1000 cc. If I ride on a big cc bike, I want it to look muscular, marcho, big and fat just like the Hayabusa hihi. Manufacturers should follow the real super naked design from the Kawasaki, with a fat looking look, air intake flanking the fat fuel tank, a lowered transformer or a snake look front head and lamp, as they are meant for a short distance in town and winding suburban areas with a happy, fun and easy riding mode, not for speeding or racing. However the Z1000 is the best choice for its dragon transformer head design and cheaper price. All these nekad are marvelous.
