Unfortunately Peniche Locals are pretty unfriendly overall! People start yelling before they go for a wave even if you have been waiting a while and are in position! Doesnt matter how well behaved and respectful you have been. Typical intimidation tactic...

Why? Just Why? Engagement? Followers? likes? Everybody already knows every spot in Portugal c'mon , every corner, every secret spot. We are a small country, our coastline it's a third of the Californian... we have lots of crowd on the lineups already, millions of surf schools everyday with people that don't respect the rules, broken boards, people hurt, kooks that don't respect the locals, garbage from Vanlifers everywhere, etc, etc. Please just STOP doing this. Obrigado.
