I met Chris Pratt on a flight from Tampa. Nevermind one of the nicest celebrities, He's legit one of the nicest people I've ever met. He let me ask him about all of the stupid little questions I had about the movie industry and he didn't seem annoyed by me at all. If you aren't please google the charity event he crashed many years ago where he stole a prominent donors seat, causing the actual donor to sit in the audience and receive no public thanks for his work. In the paper the next day Trump was featured in the photos looking like a donor since he was sitting in the donors seats. Sat next to Chris Pratt on an flight home to Las Vegas. He spent most of the 5 hours joking around with everyone, taking selfies and signing autographs. He's a guy that just likes his celebrity and spreading the joy he feels in being famous. Most entertaining flight I've ever been on. He took a genuine interest in meeting everyone who approached him, to the point that the flight attendants made him sit down a few times when the seat belt sign was lit. His reactions each time were hilarious. Just a great guy.

Can confirm Jeff Goldblum is super freakin' nice. I was interning on a film that he was in where he'd only be shooting for one day but he had the entire cast and crew cracking up and laughing the entire time he was there. Just naturally wanting to entertain and putting everyone at ease. He hung out at video village when he wasn't in the scene and played 'the six degrees of Jeff Goldblum' (which might sound arrogant but he was being very tongue-in-cheek about it & everyone was dying of laughter), and he even came right up to me, a lowly intern, while I was sitting by myself in the middle of an empty hallway keeping it clear during rolling. He asked me what my name was, had an entire conversation with me like I was someone important on set when I clearly wasn't and then went on his merry way and began his scenes. He killed this big monologue he had for the film- nailing it every single take. At the end of his filming, he took pictures with everyone on set but I was stuck behind the set guarding a fishing line people could've tripped on if they didn't see it, and I missed my chance to get a picture with him. He had already gone back to his trailer and I was so bummed when I found out. I asked a producer if I might be able to still bug him for a picture (not something I'd normally do but because he was so friendly and since we had a conversation earlier I thought it might be ok), and she walked me out to his trailer where he eventually came out, greeted me so warmly, gave me a huge hug for the picture and even remembered my name from when we spoke many many hours ago between meeting dozens of other people. I'm so happy to see him on this list. :)

When the first Wolverine movie came out, Mexico City was basically in quarantine over an influenza outbreak. The government had advised people to avoid going out and to wear face masks and wash their hands after shaking hands with someone, so it was a surprise when we knew Hugh Jackman was coming to the city for a screening of the movie. So we were a bunch of people outside the theater and he arrived in a motorcycle and immediately ran to the crowd and started shaking hands, smiling, taking pictures with everyone and thanking them for going to the premiere. He didn't even hesitate. That's my Hugh Jackman story.

To be fair, Tom Cruise is known, despite his huge paychecks and celebrity, to be incredibly gracious and tirelessly positive with his fans and coworkers alike, too. For all his oddball theatrics, he's still someone who puts in the work and to my mind is also worthy of $20M. He memorizes everyone's names on huge sets of hundreds of people in the films he works on. He's kind and affable and outgoing to almost anyone. He hosts their wrap parties himself and has made an effort his entire career to bring-on disadvantaged individuals to his productions and stay loyal to the blue-collar members of his films crews decades on-end. He travels on world tours for press and does every junket, every photocall. Every press and fan event- and stays out to sign autographs and takes photos as long as people are there. People don't quite give the man the credit he deserves. Like Hanks, he's a tremendously successful star- perhaps Cruise and Hanks are the two most notable in the entire world- and he remains friendly and down-to-earth. There's a rarity there, I think.

Tom Hanks is definitely number 1. I was an extra on Charlie Wilson's War in the scene where Tom Hanks in walking in the park. After the first take when they said go back to 1 he stopped and greeted all the extras in the scene (about 15) and thanked us for being there. It was amazing to meet him.
