Brendan deservedly was on Mojo's Top 30 Nicest Celebrities Ever list only 2 weeks ago! I guess they are trying to put some different ones on the list, but I'm all for putting him on there again. His kindness and sweetness has been mentioned by countless people who have known him, met him, worked with him. And he is a wonderful, amazingly versatile, and superb actor as well. A man who has brought a lot of joy into people's lives in so many ways.

Kate McKennon should be on this list as she is probably the nicest celebrity that I've ever met. I've also seen Hugh Jackman in person and felt he was very kind and down to earth, probably why I like him so much. But the one person you absolutely should of had on here doesn't surprise me that you skipped him, because once again Watch Mojo seems to have a problem with him, is Johnny Depp. I saw him in person too and you can just feel that he is the kindest person out there. He absolutely loves his fans and always shows it. He is just so humble and shy and that's what I love about him.

So, when I was in like....early or middle of high school, so 9-10th grade (94/95ish), my family and I were at a buffet here in Pensacola. My dad and I were HUGE wrestling fans, and so when THE MOST ELECTRIFYING MAN IN SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT walked past us after getting a plate of food, our eyes were LASER-locked on him. He went and sat down with...Rikishi, Afa and Sika, and about 10 other people. It was quite clear that he was there with his family. My dad always had a MASSIVE respect for family and family time. It took everything we had in us to keep from going over and asking for an autograph, something that others there were not able to hold themselves back on. Luckily it was pretty early in the day, and there weren't a lot of people there, restaurant was barely a quarter full, and they were tucked far in the back, but we were able to see them, and it was QUITE clear that my dad and I were both starstruck. I mean, there's two wrestling legends, and two of the most popular wrestlers at the time. But, family time, especially family meal time, is sacred. So we stayed put. They had obviously been there before us, and finished up and started heading out. As the Wild Samoans passed, they both gave us nods of respect, same with Rikishi who gave us a wink too. When The Rock passed by, he smiled, gave us the eyebrow, said "thanks" and dropped a note on our table. The note read. "We appreciate you for not interrupting our family meal, as thanks, yours is on me. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. And sure enough, he paid for our family's meal. I kept that note in one of my poster frames up until 2005, when Hurricane Dennis set our house on fire while we were evacuated, and burned up the poster, the note, and my signed copy of Mick Foley's autobiography, which was the last thing my dad got me as just an "I love you" gift, not a birthday or xmas gift, but just something he bought that he knew I'd like and surprised me with it. Dad passed in 2000.

Finn Jones (Game of Thrones, Iron Fist) was at the first Pensacon, in 2014, and I was a big fan of GoT, so of course him and Kristian Nairn were two of the people I was most excited to meet. Kristian is HUGE, btw...I'm 6'4" and literally had to look up at him. But Finn was so genuinely nice. We talked a good bit, I told him I was planning on doing a janky low-budget cosplay on that Sunday and he said he HAD to see it, that I better not skip over him. So, when I showed up in a literal 1 week of planning Dr Zoidberg cosplay that cost maybe 20 bucks, he was over the moon, and recognized it instantly. He demanded that he get another picture with me. I got it for free, instead of the usual like 10 dollars or whatever it was at the time, lol, just because he liked how janky and cheap it was, and he found it hilarious. He was way nicer than I expected.
