Don't throw away the receipts when you purchase something in Taiwan. These receipts are actually lottery tickets. Our government draw the receipt lottery every 2 months.
Thank you so much for this video. I just moved to Taipei for graduate school at NCCU and your videos have been a lifesaver for me.

Use cell phone GPS navigation when you are taking a bus. Navigation will tell you where you are and where the bus goes to next stop... just make sure your cell phone is well charged. Because GPS navigation will drain your battery very fast.

You may not be a vegetarian, but more and more people stopped eating meat. So you can also introduce the abundance of vegetarian restaurants in Taiwan.

I would suggest for first-time visitors to try not to come to Taiwan in the summer, especially if they're from Europe or North America, as it can get really hot. Also, try your best to venture out of the cities to check out the mountains and beaches, especially on the eastern coastline. That's where the true gem lies.

if you are an expat/student/short-term visitor in Taiwan, you need an umbrella outside and a dehumidifier in your room, which is a must!!!.

there are still restaurants open from midnight to morning. And those restaurants are usually fantastic and worth trying..... 7-11 is convenient but it should only be the choice that you don't want to spend your time for such good food LOL!

禁止飲食的規定,其實不是從票口開始算,是從影片中票口前的黃色粗線開始。在某些捷運站這條線其實跟票口有一小段距離。 The "no food / drink" rule actually applies when you pass the thick yellow line that is outside the gate. In some stations that line is a small distance away from the gate.
Very detailed information about Taiwan,thanks Lukas! Welcome peoples of the world come to Taiwan formosa. Don't forget !remember subscribed the Lucas Channel! 😉😉😉
North(taipei), middle(taichung) and south of Taiwan waether is different, big different, well Good.luck and ask your taiwan friends👍👍👍

1.“我不會說中文”改成“我只聽得懂英文”比較好因為接下來才知道要怎麼幫忙; 2.“不用謝謝”改成“不客氣”比較好 3.There's also another card called "iPass" that would be as good as easy and icash cards for discount .
@jofenting66615 жыл бұрын
Bryan Sun 他說的「不用,謝謝」是用來婉拒的意思,不是「不客氣」的意思
