Gal Gadot is amazing, and is literally perfect casting. But Wonder Woman in Justice League/JLU is the ULTIMATE. She is written and acted (and animated) to the ideal degree. Both can be great, simultaneously! Plus her flight scene shows a significant part of her character arc (not just as a superhero) it’s a strong metaphor of after when she finally let go of Steve, she let go of her longtime grief that weighed her after his death. That entire scene is a metaphor though the ones we love are gone, their never forgotten & that the best way to honor them is using the gifts we have & honoring how they lived rather than how they died, to love & live another day living in the joy of our purpose in life & that’s what Diana did.😊

The movie was pretty good, due to fact I was focusing on its meaning. I understand that we are just giving our opinions about weather the movie was good or not but I want you to understand something. I understand the movie didn’t have a lot of action and some of the scenes were cringe but that wasn’t the point of the movie. The point was the message the movie conveyed about how what we wish for can end up affecting others. The movie simply tells us that we shouldn’t forget what is truly important in our life. According to Rachel Garcia, "The truth although painful, needs to come out to save us and save others." Nothing great will ever come from lying or being deceitful. I mainly loved the part when the villain realized his mistake at the end through the love for his son and him being honest with himself and him. Love and truth end up prevailing in the end and that is what we should always make sure prevails. To conclude it was a great movie. (My opinion) There could have been alot more action scenes but then again that wasn’t the point. It is still a good movie, I loved the fact that Linda carter was at the end of movie portraying the Amazon who was the bravest and sacrificing herself so that her sisters can be freed. I WOULD RECOMMENDED THIS MOVIE.

I think I remember a BTS video from a long time ago that showed how it was filmed. IIRC, the later Washington scene and Cairo running scene (I think) were filmed practically with Gadot on a motorized rig similar to a zip line with her feet not touching the ground. Like every scene with the Flash, running fast is either a disappear/reappear, slow motion/real time composite, or weird looking running if done practically. You're telling me, that a movie that takes place 1984, has 1984 references and stores and the big punk rock shop from 1984? No way mind blown! That is genius! Genius movie making! Can you also tell me that this movie called wonder woman 1984 had elements of the actual wonder woman in it!? Again mind blown! This is some , this is some really incredible stuff thank you thank you very much! In this movie they go to The white house that's also in DC! Wow! Really good attention to detail and it was white also! Amazing!There was even an over law office

1 detail that stood out was the fact that this movie cleverly referenced Justice League. In that one, when Aquaman was praising WW, he did not know that the Lasso Of Truth was wrapped around his leg. This movie used that idea to stop the bad guy.

@@eh503 I gasped a bit when I heard it, glad they brought it back. Indeed it looked strange especially on her close ups it confused me cuz it felt like she was floating or gliding but not truly flying. Yeah the overall tone did feel like an 80s blockbuster attempt, still enjoyable for me too.

Apparently an unpopular opinion, but I thought this was great. Not the best movie ever, but certainly one of the best comicbook superhero movies. Far and away.
@frankieflow133 жыл бұрын
Agreed. I saw a non spoiler review so I knew what to expect. My expectations were lowered and I actually enjoyed the film. I don't think we see a lot of heartfelt superhero movies anymore because all people want to see action so it was nice to see that in this film. The first movie was better but that was because that movie was a war movie and this one is a blockbuster.

The funny thing is that her first attack on Doomsday were she leaps across the battlefield but stays the same distance off the ground, I always thought was physically impossible. Well this kind of corrects that. She wasn't jumping at Doomsday, she was flying a foot off the ground toward him.
@kienspicer44763 жыл бұрын
Well its says in bvs she disappeared for 100 years now she shows up in the 80s. One my biggest hates of the DCEU is they act like Clark the first meta when it seems they was crawling with them publicly and none of showed up to help stop Zod?
