But in the present day there is a new Superman and that is Henry Cavill. So I don't know why James Gunn decided to change him. When Dr. Strange and Thanos met, I did not see why, when they put him to sleep, that Strange did not open a portal with his sling ring and slide it over Thanos' hand and close the portal. Boom, stones no longer in his possession. They would be where Strange had opened a portal to. It could have been into the heart of a star where no one could grab them anymore!

Bloodshot was actually quite good for an action/sci-fi movie for Vin Diesel being the lead. I completely forgot it but enjoyed it when I watched it. However there's quite a few movies similar to this as well as same kind of premise..

I love that you put the OG Superman as #1. People nowadays may not appreciate it but Superman is my favorite so it's great that Christopher Reeve is respected in this. BTW I do have to say, though it wouldn't technically be considered a superhero movie, I think Ripley in the loader in Aliens should've been on this list. Ain't no beast like a mama bear protecting her cub. Plus that epic line, "Get away from her you b*tch!". IJS 🤷🏻‍♀

Rumor is that Henry Cavill didn't give up the suit on his own accord but rather was pushed to do so by DC Comics because they wanted to make younger, newer versions of the DC Comic heroes (i.e.: a new Superman (again), a new Wonder Woman, etc.)

The explosion at the mansion would have been supersonic because the explosion was from diesel.. So it was going at least 700 MPH, probably much faster. Quicksilver ran about 300 meters each trip carrying people. He traveled about 300 meters in the time it took for the explosion to move about 3 meters. So about 100 times faster than the explosion. He was carrying people and not running on the ground some of the time. So he can run well over 70,000 MPH which is about 100,000 feet per second or 20 miles per second. A .223 bullet goes about 3500 feet per second. He can run from the Pacific ocean to the Atlantic ocean in about 2 1/2 minutes. He would have made a sonic boom with every trip there and back. So at least a dozen sonic booms every second. All of those numbers are at the very low end so he is probably twice that fast.

ONE very bad thing about The Wolverine... The Young Yashida character is looking *directly at the bomb blast.* He's now blinded for life. That was a serious mistake by the writer/director/technical people. It's one of the few major flaws in the film. === The Matrix... that last little bit, where he destroys Smith, and looks at the other two Smiths, and they run away... 😛

LOVED the scene completely of Wanda the Witch OWNING Thanos. causing him to "rain fire" on opponents and his own army. You could feel her anger (fantastic actor) and when Thanos says "i don't even know you" - the way she says, "You WILL" was chills moment. Loved that scene. if only they didn't have "girl power" mid-war scene... so cringe. But honestly, if the Scarlet Witch had accessed her full power by the time they had that fight, she alone could have won. Or at the very least, her, Dr. Strange, and Thor could have won.

I'm not sure, but I think the point of that scene wasn't how fast Peter is, but that his spidey sense gave him the ability to react to events before they happened. He's fast, but not "Flash fast" but that edge made it seem like he is.

The only speedster to outrun Makkari in the comic was an alternative Flash...though I think Superman could also out speed him. In the second TF movie Prime took a chunk out of Megatron's face, ripped off Star Screams arm and beat him with it, and that was before he got knocked down, spit out his mouthguard and the montage began, and then he fought 4 Deception's at once.
