The last one is my favorite . I think the scales are adorable. They are vintage but most likely not an actual antique. No matter if it's new or old it's still just things. This year we have learned what is really valuable in life. 🏜

Hi Kat, I love all your ideas and I actually love how you do your best of 10. I have been on my own since 1987 when I was 23 I moved out of my parents house. They later divorced my mom bought a cool little house and worked 3 jobs to pay it off in 15 yrs so she can retire at 65 and not have a mortgage. She is now 81. Her knees are bad and I have bad knees too due to an accident. I've had my own condo have done lots of decorating, not married no strings attached. I offered to move in and she was si excited I moved in 10/1. I gave tons of my stuff to Habitat but still kept lots.i still have 15 boxes on her porch. We have got along so good together. She went to stay at my sisters for eye surgery as mu sister works from home. While recovering from eye surgery she started getting sicker yet she just passed her physical for the ey surgery. Without any symptoms until the end of Feb she was told she has pancreatic cancer.i had hoped she would come home I would get off on FMLA and take care of her reason I moved here, but to my sadness she wants to stay at my sisters. I'm heart broken and now with the virus I am ONLY allowed to see her if it is warm outside and we can sit 6 feet away.😥 I have never unpacked because I always hung out with her every night and day but now going stir crazy and being lonely I am unpacking and resorting because now I will have lots of her items to use. Today while in the basement I found a magazine rack identical to your's I have never ever seen it before. We have never used racks. Tonight at 7 I asked her on the phone where she got it. She said on someone's curb she thought this summer we could paint it up and use it in our porch. Mind you that call was at 7 and I just finished your video at 8 30pm. My mom has always wanted to make the porch nautical. This yr she was going to have it closed in, new floor put in and new windows. I do not have the money to do that who knows now how long I will be here. I'm hoping if the virus leaves and she is strong enough to visit she will come hang out with me this summer. I would like to clean up the porch nice and put down a new rug. I would like to paint the magazine rack and make a nautical plaque such as your's at the end. I would like to surprise her. At Michael's they have wooden anchors to paint I thought I could buy a couple and attach to frames. Somewhere I have sea life dishes I can display with candles. I dont want to think about the time frame of her life the dr gave her. Onky the good Lord knows. Crafts make me happy and I think they keep me grounded and saner. I have to stay upbeat for her and set goals for myself. Today was windy and cold o want the warm weather to come so I can wash down the porch floor and vacuum the day bed/sofa out there. I would like to make a new cover and new nautical pillows. For Christmas my mom ordered me 3 of my favorite magazines and I didn't know it until late Feb they all came and she was no longer here. On nice days on the porch it will be nice to read them and out them into the newly painted rack. I'm so glad I saw your video tonight. Sorry for the novel. Sincerely, Rebekah in Arlington, VA

I liked all of your upcycles, but I have to admit the flower holder out of an old magazine rack was awsome. Then the last one with printed pictures & the gauze was beautiful. I loved EVERY SINGLE ONE! I made the exact same thing with the old magazine rack I got at Goodwill about 6 months ago!! Every single thing was just perfect! The last one was beautiful just doesn’t fit my personal decor, but my dad has nautical decor in his house so I want to make that one too for him! You are very talented! I always love your videos.
