To be fair. In Eternals, Ikaris did redeem himself when he reluctantly helped his family stop the emergence in its tracks. But feeling like he betrayed both sides, he sacrificed himself because he couldn't endure eternal punishment. He still died a hero.

They are once friends with the protagonist parents then turned betrayal 3. Jealousy 4. They are too good to be true 5. They fake being a hero until the truth revealed halfway through the movie (like mysterio) 6. Their motive to bring back losses (like the scarlet witch) 7. They are the mastermind behind everything that happened to the hero 8. They tried to make their project work which ended up a disaster (green goblin for example) 9. To be honest, I saw Tony Stark as a huge backstabber in Civil War(perhaps more so than anyone). Cap helped him put Ultron down, but Tony betrayed his respect by capitulating to the Accords agenda from the get go. I don’t care what you say about Cap’s “lie” about Bucky, Tony screwed(or should I say F***ED) the pooch FIRST.

There's a running theory that the reason Ego's other children failed is that he culled them too early. The celestial genes didn't manifest because they had to reach peak maturity first. Peter Quill was the first and only of Ego's children to reach adulthood alive. When you realize that, Ego's actions are just a little more reprehensible than they already were.

It's said Kazi will return in the upcoming Echo series, maybe he'll start going by Clown faceplate and all. Fra will need to shave. We have already had MacGargan, Thunderbolt Ross, Norman Osborn, Taskmaster, and Baron Zemo in the MCU we're only missing Songbird, Moonstone, Fixer, Atlas, and a few other members. Also Ross was Red Hulk, Osborn was Iron Patriot, Zemo was himself, MacGargan was Venom, and Taskmaster as himself in the comics (probably will be the female one from Black Widow in the movie)
