Sheldon being upset that nobody came to his party, and worrying that he'll always be alone, only for it to show his future friends and wife as children is really heartwarming, and resonates with anyone who's struggled with making connections, and that you won't always feel isolated.

Even though I don’t live in a tornado zone I find the episodes with the tornadoes scary to say the least
@Lady-Kanerasoka8 ай бұрын
Same here. Tornadoes are my all time biggest fear because they’re such ruthless monsters that can kill and/or destroy without hesitation and the season 6 finale is solid proof. I live in Colorado Springs and most people don’t even know that half of Colorado actually is in Tornado Alley, but that’s probably because we’re known for the most avalanche deaths every year due to our ski resorts. The eastern half of Colorado is a lot of flatlands and prairies like Kansas and we can get some really severe tornadoes. Colorado Springs, despite being at the foot of the mountains, butts up right against Tornado Alley and we can get tornadoes outside or even inside the city, but they’re usually very brief. Last one to touch down inside the city was summer 2023 in the northern part of town (one of our several unincorporated communities) and lasted only a few minutes

Missy's experience on her baseball team mirrors Penny Proud's experience on her football team in The Proud Family. Someone on the Young Sheldon team must have seen that episode which gave them the idea on how to deal with prejudice. Yes, sports like baseball and football did start out with just men playing, but as time went on and the eras of life changed, more and more women and girls began playing sports as well, starting with the All Girls Professional Baseball League that ran between 1944 and 1956, as WW2 threatened to end Major League Baseball in 1943. The MLB and other baseball leagues worldwide would likely not exist today if not for the AGPBL back then.

@@ChristopherBingham-xx8xl it’s not that there weren’t ideas. But that the Timeline in which Sheldon graduated from East Texas Tech and moved to California was getting closer and closer. Once that happens the show switches from Young Sheldon to Big Bang. Sure they could crossover into the gang but that would come at a cost. For one the integrity of how we know those events to have happened would likely change. Young Sheldon is narrated by Sheldon after he develops emotionally and starts a family and is reminiscing on his childhood. You can often hear him talking about realization and changing his opinion on his family especially his father. That bit of information would give the show a different feeling. I wasn’t the biggest fan of Sheldon in big bang until the later seasons once he had developed emotionally. I would watch it on and off throughout its run never really following it. I fancied Young Sheldon much better because every storyline didn’t always have Sheldon in it. Which seems odd considering the shows are centered around him but, he can be such an intense character at times that the little breaks feel needed at least for me. I also think that they made the switch to Mandy and Georgie to test the idea of the spin-off. The show was stilling bringing in massive viewership.

Although its only minor I think showing how the worlds view changed over the early 1990's with homosexual relationships is quite interesting as seen in season 7 when Missy tells George Sr her boyfriend is gay so she wouldn't get in trouble and George's and Taylor's reaction afterward perfectly captures that

Moreover, the divorce of Paige's parents was not normal, but rather a family fight. A lot of people just divorce - maybe amicably - and just move on. But it seemed that Paige's parents' divorce had simply created chaos, strife and estrangement. And they all started behaving immaturely, irresponsibly (especially in front of a child who was in the middle of the chaos and their war). Plus, Paige blamed herself for family breakup (since they often disputed because of her). I just want to say that a lot of people are downplaying it and saying that Paige is over dramatizing it.. It was pretty serious, and it wasn't Paige's only problems. Paige is the best. I'm upset she wasn't in the final season.
