This will be a day long remembered. Pretty solid list man! These certainly are trips back to the toys from the past decade for sure. I started collecting in 2012 so this decade's releases were the most significant for me. I dunno what order they'd be, but Topspin/Twintwist (I can't pick between them actually), TF Prime First edition Optimus, Vehicon, MP soundwave, and MP10 would probably make my list too! I'd probably throw in TR Overlord, Siege Omega Supreme, and MPM Optimus into mine. The rest I'd have to think harder on. Great vid man, it lived up to the hype!

If I was making a top 10, even though I don't own him, Masterpiece Dinobot would definitely have to be on the list because it pulled off something a lot of us thought was impossible and made it work and it's almost show accurate how it sorta explodes out with only a few panels holding together the body to fold itself inside and out. Genius design.

Unpopular opinion: MP and third party are way overrated and they are redoing constantly the same characters. Generations lines are more fun to collect and they are at the point in which most of the times are aesthetically (not in build quality) better than MP (also see SS86 Hot Rod...), especially when the latter to be animation accurate have questionably things like faces similar to demented mimes or absurdly complicated transformation that you'll do only once. They are also more cohesive and you can literally assemble the whole G1 cast with few exception that will be eventually covered. Frankly most of my pick would be from Siege to ER because they make obsolete almost everything we had before with few exceptions.

My favorite toy from 2010 was actually Terradive, who took the Cyberjet Space Case mechanics to what is so far their ultimate expression, and who also makes a good stand-in as a Lithonian in a TFTM display.

Welcome back, dude! It's honestly hard to believe just how jam-packed this past decade was for the world of Transformers. Either I'm overwhelmed by the sheer amount of product worth discussing or I'm just becoming painfully aware of just how much time has passed. One notable figure that I'm surprised didn't make your list was Generations Thrilling 30 Springer. I remember it being a huge deal that Hasbro had finally produced an excellent triple-changer after such a long chain of mediocre attempts. It is still very well regarded by a lot of fans, at least from what I have seen, so its absence comes across as an odd omission. Even if it cannot be considered to be one of the best figures of the decade, it should at least be seen as one of the most notorious.

Yeah, it definitely seems odd to not include that figure on this list. He's one of the very few triple changers that actually manages to get 2 convincing alternate modes, and maybe the only to not really sacrifice much at all in any mode to pull it off. Plus you still get a somewhat stylized IDW comics design Springer that still looks accurate on top of everything else. Not to mention that this was done at the retail Voyager pricepoint, which fits with the whole "bang for your buck" criteria TJ was using. He's definitely one of the design team's biggest accomplishments and a real testament to how much Transformers figures had evolved after 30 years.

Honestly i feel there isn't a lot of variety in this list as most entries were g1 generations figures and 2 prime figures which is totally not the case. I do have a list of my own: 10. I do agree with Topspin, It was a hard choice for me to decided between Trigerhappy, Spinister and him but he is well deserving of the spot. 9. Battletrap is a really solid entry as well and it definetly does a lot of things right where energon failed. 8. for Number 8 I would in fact Dark of the Moon Skyhammer, the transformation is mindblowind, the kibble free Robot and vehicle mode is astounding, Finally a helicopter transformer that does something clever with the rotors by having them cup over his chest armor. 7. FE optimus deserves the number 7 spot, he is a damn near perfect representation of Prime Optimus and very cleverly made 6 Computron wouldn't be my go to combiner as the best of the decade as i feel both have very weird proportions in some aspect and don't feel as solid, I do believe that Unite Warriors Baldigus(AkA Ruination) is a better designed figure as it has the very solid weighty legs and balanced arial arms that make him more pleasing. 5. Studio Series Jetfire is probably the best reinvention of a movie figure i've seen so far, he has a great feature as he can be combined with the voyager Optimus , good paint, good sculpt and a really solid leader class even with his sheer size. 4. The vehicon is absolutely beautiful so i have nothing to comment on it other than it deserved a bit more credit 3. Here I would in fact put a tie between Mp 10 Optimus and Mp13 Soundwave as they are very well executed collector items, lots of playability and lots of fun you can have with either option. 2. (Here I actually have no idea , because i am not sure who would be better than a masterpiece but not as good as the number 1 spot so if anyone has an idea please let me know!) 1. Generations Springer(2014) this is the absolute first triple changer in Transformers history that was succesful in all 3 of the modes, flawless transformation, faithful recreation of his Idw design and well deserving of his title as one of the best voyagers out there. That's my input, I just feel that there were a lot of good figures outside of Masterpiece, generations , and the 2 prime figures. because let's be real, 4 of those entries were masterpieces and 2 of them are far from good for their pricepoint(for 130 and 150 respectively bucks Sunstreaker and Ironhide aren't worth the price. Sunstreaker is too complex in engineering and frustrating to transform and has a huge backpack in the end anyways, while Ironhide's aesthetics are so simple and there's so little visual change in the design that he does look like Takara found the perfect mold to work as little as possible on). Sorry for the rant, I know it's Tj's opinion but this is mine.

Definitely on board with springer, it goes to show you don't need a triple changer to turn into "super real" vehicles to work, they just need to look cool. and shying away from replicating a g1 toy and saying the blocky mess is "screen accurate" was a good idea. theeeen we got another g1 pandering springer in seige that looks just as dull and blocky as the original. Along with him Astrotrain got yet another sub-par toy. IT'S NOT SACRILGE TO MAKE HIM A BULLET TRAIN DAMMIT!!!!

In this complicated decade of Transformers collecting where "the best Transformer" can take on 1001 meanings, its really refreshing to see you go with all-around value above all others. While I'm learning to appreciate aesthetic more as an adult who's got less and less time to spend with my TFs, value is still my gatekeeping variable for buying anything new. My personal top 10 has some mentioned here (SS Grimlock and MP10) but lots of others (some of which are non transforming). Anyway, glad to see you back in business. Here's to 10 more years of TJomega vids (if you're still feeling it by then) ! :)

As someone who only got serious into collecting Transformers in 2010, I really appreciated this list. I'm not sure who I'd put on a list other than HFTD Terradive, MP Sideswipe, and Last Knight Voyager Megatron. When it comes to MP-10. I feel like while he's real close to being perfect, my main complaint even back when he came out was only having 90 degree elbows and knees, especially for his Takara price of $250. While I love how poseable MP-44 is, he's too expensive. I would totally be down for a version of MP-10 with better elbows and knees, as well as an ab crunch. To me, that'd be the perfect Optimus Prime toy. You threw me through a loop with Sunstreaker, when you were setting him up, I thought for sure you were going with Megatron 2.0, but I'm glad you picked Sunstreaker. He's a wonderful toy. I love the Ohshima Masterpieces, that dude is a toy designing wizard, though I do still miss the Hasui era. I was also surprised you went with Computron, given how everyone loved Devastator. I thought he was a shoe-in. Really glad you put the PRID Vehicon here. Great video, man!

I prefer mostly toys from the 2000s compared to the 2010s. Aside from Masterpiece & a handful of Generations, all the figured I feel (especially for the main films & cartoons) have had a boost in price, & a decrease in feeling I am holding a quality product.

Prime RID Vehicon may actually be my favorite Transformer toy of the last decade. That transformation still feels like magic despite arguably being a shellformer. My own list would also include MP10B Nemesis Prime, Prime Beast Hunters voyager Optimus Prime, Thrilling 30 voyager Springer and the recently released Earthrise Scorponok.

When it comes to MP Ironhide, he is definitely a fun figure. I think if they just added one extra fold to make the front of the car more compact in bot mode, this figure would be perfect. It just looks like he has a beer belly which looks weird with all of my other bots

I think the third video in this line might be the hardest list he'll ever have to put together. There've been so many great ones in just the last 3 years (hell you could do a top 10 list on that alone), I shutter to think what might come along in the next 7. Right now, my own list would already include: - Studio Series '86 Junkheap/Wreck-Gar (a justifiable tie) - Buzzworthy Bumblebee [SS '86] Kup reissue - Studio Series 101 Scourge - Legacy Menasor (yes, the whole Stunticons team tied it up for me) - Legacy Evolution Armada Optimus Prime - WFC Titan Ark

MP Optimus Primal may be the most accurate MP ever created and the engineering/deco were amazing. I would put him on my personal list. The only other figure I would've put on there is TF Prime First Edition Starscream. I think he, Soundwave, and First Edition Prime stand tall as the best figures from TF Prime. I do like the first edition Bulkhead, but only the Takara version. The paint on it was phenomenal.

2000 to 2010, cynertron optimus for sure, hunt for deceptions human alliance jazz as well, universe prowl too. Many from the animated line could fit, armada demolisher for sure, cybertron jetfire was awesome for the time.

Probably an weird choice, but I personally give my best of the decade to Combiner Wars Predacus, more for what it represents for me personally than the set itself (although the set itself is quite good). In terms of a more mainstream pick... honestly, it probably goes to PotP Optimus; if not the original release, than at the very least the mold itself. The original has become my definitive prime, with Nemesis Prime and Star Convoy being fantastic reuses of the mold. An honorable mention goes to Arms Micron Wildrider, which is my favorite use of the Prime Wheeljack mold.
