Hello From Fans!!! Season 2 is more than halfway finished and there are still alot of opened ended mysteries on the show! In this video I break a few down to put in perspective to help all of our theories for episodes 8,9, and 10.

The mysterious numbers or dates etched into the wood, the supernatural pregnancy, the unknown voices over the radio, references to mythology and ancient rituals, mysterious visions, monsters in the forest, potential spies watching from within the group - anyone else notice how all of these things happened in Lost?

same writers... i often thought this show is the Lost that they really wanted to produce- but back then things went scuffed and they half assed the "they were dead" ending which I thought I remember the writers saying it wasn't originally going to be like that.

On rewatching I've noticed a lot of flower symbols (on shirts, wallpapers, mysterious lingering shot on the flower pot in Julie's room ect) Not sure if it will be something but haven't seen much mention of them. Edit: also the choosing ceremony for Colony house

I would love it if they showed a new family encountering the tree, and being prepared with a chainsaw, cutting through it, moving it, and continuing straight. I would love for to be shown that they still get trapped in the town. I feel it would be a nice nod, answer that question for me, and satisfy me knowing I'm the type of person that keeps chainsaw in this truck and would do exactly that.

One of my questions is why don't they setup traps for the monsters? Make a blade which is head high that swings and chops a head off, or a hole in the ground which they fall into.

Yes! I’ve been saying the same thing! Set up a trou de loup/tiger pit (hole traps with the spikes on the bottom) under a window and lure the creatures over to it. I mean sure the impaling won’t kill them but they’ve have a hell of a time trying to un-skewer themselves by morning.

The downtree is the barrier. When you see the tree I think it's already too late. I think we are dealing with fantasy and the concepts of the mind from Lacan and Freud. Especially if it's anything like Lost, which ripped off themes straight from David Lynch's Lost Highway.

In the opening credits when they show victors drawings there's a drawing on newspaper. I paused this scene and tried to read what I could. It's an article that takes place during the civil war and it's about something happening to some soldiers. There's a fire and shooting. It's very hard to read but it's interesting. It takes place in Abbeville SC.

@@tonyroid1 it does! It's very interesting, I'm sure it was planned and answers a few questions. From what I pieced together it was as if something invaded the town and the soldiers were fighting it.

How did the talismans get in that tree. How did Marvin get the rope to Boyd being chained up. Why did 3 people have seizures. How did the bracelet get there. What is it about "water"? Even Boyd wants a boat. Are the current monsters people turned?

Elgin missed the Tree too. He was asleep and Jade was passed out. My TOP TEN MYSTERIES OF FROM: 10.) Why don't people go around or move or chop up the Tree? Does everyone see the same tree, or do they sacrifice a new tree each time. 9.) WHY did the Voices tell Sarah to murder (Jade's best friend since childhood) Toby in a way that matches what the monsters do? They told Sarah to leave the door to the Medical Building so Toby would have been killed that way by the monsters anyway- so why? Was Toby special? Did he see something at the fallen tree that he wasn't supposed to? 8.) Is there a cycle that repeats itself with key players being replaced each time? Is Jade in Christopher's place? There are reasons to think the Town replaces people- we saw sixteen people die between the Colony House massacre, Father Kathri's death and that guy hanging himself. Then a bus comes with twenty five people, but the monsters killed six from the bus and one died from being crushed by the house and the bartender got killed by a monsters- that's eight dead- leaving seventeen new people to replace the sixteen killed in season one. So much for blaming the new people on the food shortage, right? 7.) What happened in the 1950's cycle? The monsters all wear 1950's style clothes and I have a crazy theory that might be right- We know the medical building used to be a high school. In the gym/theatre with stage and lights are old decorations that look (to me) like Halloween decorations. I think the high school seniors were going to a Halloween Dance when they were turned into the monsters we now see. They were either dressed in home costumes- explaining why the monsters mostly look like 1950's roles- a milkman, a mechanic, a man in a tuxedo, a cheerleader, a nurse, a bride in wedding dress- or they're dressed like it's the prom- explaining the monsters we saw inside Colony House. The rest were teachers or chaperones for the dance 6.) What happened in the 1978 event (the date etched inside the lighthouse in Tabitha's dream)? We know Victor was the sole survivor and we know him and his mother hid from the monsters. Does the slaughter of the entire town represent failure of the "quest"? 5.) Why are there no name brands on anything? No logos on refrigerators or clothes or CARS. Only Jade was in a name brand vehicle, while all the cars Victor moved were not only 70's looking- but not actual brands. No Fords or Chevy or Toyotas. Heck, even the Matthews' RV is obviously old vintage. Even Father Kathri's candy bar or the bag of cookies Victor had stashed or the PEACHES- all generic to the point of them maybe being from... another reality?

@@TheMovie_Guru YES! EXACTLY. I kept thinking of more mysteries as I typed! You got the big ones- the food being the biggest I didn't mention. I had a horror movie idea that, like the monsters don't REALLY look like 1950's high school seniors (or whatever) that maybe the town, the Diner and the food doesn't really look like that either. How did people eat before Boyd found the goats, cows and chickens? They couldn't possibly have grown their own food. Maybe...people that turn to cannibalism become new monsters? My awful idea was that the food they eat isn't an endless supply of pancakes but rather is the organs the monsters remove from their victims. If the monsters feed on fear (because they don't eat the people they kill), then keeping the humans alive and fed makes sense- though it'd be a DARK reveal! I could see them pull it off though- it's no more shocking than the initial reveal of the corpses of the mother and daughter was in the first episode!

@@jasoncaldwell5627 Could be it seems Kenny Mom is at the center of a lot of people having spiritual around her. Boyd had 2 at the Diner, Sara had 1, and I believe Kenny will be the next to get them. The visions could all be FOOD related. If you've seen "Snowpiercer" they were eating food in blocks that turned out to be crickets. Samething could be going on here...don't know where she would be getting the crickets from thou..lol

CRAZY TOP TEN LIST, PART DUEX. 4.) Are the flickering lights Morse Code? Jim keeps ALMOST investigating the flickering lights and signs but being derailed in thought- particularly by Tilly (who I think is SUS AF). After all, if there's no wires, why would they be flickering without faulty wiring? Are the flickering lights the same force that turns on the radios at the diner? Are they the souls of the dead? 3.) The Talismans- we know from the showrunners that there are twelve talismans- each is unique. Do the talismans match places in town? Are there twelve buildings to match? I haven't been able to tell for certain- but it's interesting that, after the Matthews'house collapsed, the tour bus was lined up along main street and given the talisman from the Matthews house. We know the talismans don't repel the monsters. Each time the monsters enter a dwelling, they make a point of throwing the talisman onto the floor. We saw it in both episodes one and two and again in Colony House. They're like game tokens- and the monsters seem to be playing a game they call "having fun". The monsters can obviously break into anyplace physically- but they abide by rules we don't know, so they'll tap on glass or rattle an unlocked doorknob without entering. Can talismans seal off the monster tunnels? Are the Talismans faith based? Each time we see sundown, we see people touch their Talisman for a moment- almost imbuing it with the power of belief. When Boyd says he doesn't know if a talisman will work inside the RV in episode one, Krysti decides "It'll work!" and no one questions it. And it worked. How much of what we see is the people's belief making it happen? Food just shows up. Talismans, goats, chickens, fishes and loaves all arrive with Boyd... 2.) The People In White. We've seen the Boy In White seem to be a guide to basic information of the Town- Faraway Trees, moving trees, etc. Now, we see the children in dirty white who appear drowned to me....or like 1950's swimming wear for kids? Maybe something happened at the Brundels? They just brought in the Ballerina- also in immaculate white, like the Boy. A guide for adults, perhaps? Are they players of some game? Maybe all on one side? Did the Voices that told Sarah to "Kill The Boy" mean Ethan, Victor or The Boy In White? Why is there only one child in town at a time? 1.) The Monster art. Does it tell a story of how the monsters first arrived in town? Does it tell the story of how a cycle of events happens? What happens if you show a monster the Circle Jade keeps seeing? Would they comment on it? Maybe Jade needs to spend a night on the bus? BONUS QUESTION: The Art- We've seen a lot of Victor's drawings and he says he drew them to know what's real and what happened...but that's bad news for everyone if so. We see a "terrarium" of sorts in one drawing - depicting the town with tunnels beneath it in a bottle. Another picture is of a big black spider lowering on a web through raindrops-which might match Ethan's vision from his seizure about how "I saw the Lake of Tears. It was a drawing on the wall. There were so many drawings on the wall. Like when I used to draw with crayons and you would put it on the fridge? And we were all there in the drawings, you and me and Mom and Julie. But somebody screamed because the spider came down from the ceiling." There are other monsters in Victor's drawing too- an all black one with red eyes, one hunched over what looks like a crib in an attic (foreshadowing Fatima's news?) AND a monster pinned up on the wall that closely resembles whatever tried to drown Elgin in his dream....and then there's... Ellis' art. We don't see much of it, but the painting he made of him and Fatima in a sorta Adam & Eve role, with a shadowy monster looming might well be foreshadowing or prophecy. Did he dream that? Why does it resemble Victor's art so much while his drawings are very realistic?

​@@agelu87 to me its Fatima normal 1 side and monster-esqe on the other. But both her. Could be wrong ive only had a chance to watch this episode on a smaller screen. I'm pretty sure but can't come up with an idea why Ellis would be drawing her as a monster.

I remember when I watched the first season I was convinced that the monster that said Julie don't you recognize me? Had to have been her younger brother. The one who died. Now I'm wondering about that again. Is time messed up in Fromville, is it magic, a dream, or is it all a simulation? Maybe they are all just AI's in a program programmed to believe they are real people with all their real memories.

The tree is a faraway tree and as you randomly go anywhere this tree is tied to randomly appear anywhere around the land recognised as America. My guess, burning the tree will how the show ends.

Namman’s wife had a servant girl from Israel who said that a prophet there would be able to heal him …….. Something to think about!😊😊

Why does this town have no buildings that indicate where they are? In many small towns, at least a few buildings are named after the town. The school for example, where Kristi lives and has the hospital set up, looks like the name has been deliberately scraped off. Also the gas station, no discernible name. The hotel? No name. The diner? Just DINER. No street names or signs. At the very least, the school should be called "Town X" High school or something. Also...if you look carefully, the night the Matthews' are held at Colony House, Julie's shirt says "Illusion" on it. This town is too generic to be real and the presence of magical unlimited electricity from wires that lead to nowhere and water and animals just randomly found in the forest make me think this place is some sort of illusion fueled in cycles by nightmares and fear. From the cave drawings, it seems like a group of people reached this place by sea initially in the 1500s, which is interesting because Fromville does not appear to be surrounded by water. This may also lend credence to that fact this place can shapeshift and change if it's an illusion. The 7 squares look to represent some sort of ritual involving those kids who reach out to Tabitha, and the red streaks/tentacles look representative of some sort of ancient creature, or maybe demon. So, I wonder if these people reached this town and woke or summoned some sort of entity they shouldn't have by accident or using some sort of witchcraft or occult knowledge using the kids as a sacrifice, and now this entity has created an illusionary nightmare realm that holds people captive so it can live on their fears.

Sorry but as a long life birder they are crows not ravens. Ravens are larger in wi g span and also have a very different beak. When the rats are eating the bird it doesn’t even look large enough to be a crow. So go back and from am I kindness you have a murder…

Thank you for the info. I receive Ravens because there are various poems placed in the background of the show and in the hospital on the chalk board is the Raven by Edgar Allen Poe. I believe the writer made a series connection with ravens but when it came to film…there were only crows available! Lol think the show is guilty of being a tv show at certain times like this even though us fans and theorist make it real.

I believe that each individual is in a coma or induced coma caused by a car accident. They are in a type of "purgatory" state. The state that they are in is real and was created by a witch or sorcerer. The show is a medieval fantasy with witches, goblins, kings, queens, knights, court jesters, dukes, lords, etc.
