Yeah, showing the face is a bad idea. I never wondered what was under the mask. As a kid (and in a way as an adult), the mask WAS the face. That's actually what Michael Myers, Jason, Leatherface, even Pyramid Head and Chainsaw guy in RE4 looked like to me as a kid - that mask was their face.

Maniac with Elijah Wood and The Voices with Ryan Reynolds are both slasher movies from the view of the killer. Tucker and Dale Vs Evil with Alan Tudyk is another one but more of a spoof because the "killers" aren't actually killers. They happen to be around when a bunch of kids start dying in accidents and their friends blame the two.

you have to be into and enjoy slashers to enjoy this flick - I thought it was great based on its POV and the one kill is best of the year so far , its like a college project instead of a low budget indie

Seeing the back of his head scene after scene with that slow walk is exactly why we never had a scary movie from the killers view and didn't need one. It's a no for me 😐

This felt like a short film dragged out to feature length, the kills were great, everything else was just slow meandering.

I enjoyed the movie for the most part. I liked the killer, he's good. The kills were awesome. Following the killer through the woods was relaxing to me. I was bored here or there. It was directed well. I didn't like the other characters because of their horrible acting and bad dialogue. The ending was blah and should have ended like 10 minutes sooner.

Went and saw this with my wife. The last 30 min of this movie is trash and doesnt evrn need to be there. Left the theatre feeling robbed of our time. Turned the movie into a 1/10.
