I love the genre. But there is a gross shortage of movies where the world actually ends. Apocalyptic series and movies are plenty, and many are good. But I want more where the earth becomes a molten ball or or a cloud of dust, etc.

I totally get that! The end-of-the-world genre is often about the apocalypse before the total destruction. It would be amazing to see more movies where the world truly meets its final fate, like a complete extinction event. I'll keep an eye out for those rare gems and add them to future lists!
