Now that the game is out. Shoutout to Putrid Worm. Little bugger hocks an 80% Evade Debuff on a foe, making it INCREDIBLY easy to catch something.

jup 1/4 milion dmg non boss enemy still stands either the hp/dmg scales up way faster than in epb 4 or what i would love even more you can lvl higher *-* imagin max lvl 80 and without much grinding getting easy lvl 70

If i remember correctly - there is an achievement for 10 million dmg with 1 attack. So 250k is far from limit.

First of all @Avarbee, well you are technically right, but what I'm saying is that a lot of developers don't even know what's going on in their game (not being able to balance it properly or not even knowing certain interactions etc.) . Secondly @Dr. RL123 hell yeah man, EBF5 is gonna be great! I once did a crazy grind on the Glitch boss by casting Debilitate and summoning Snowflake (using the Small Cloud to easily recoup the SP). St high enough levels, Debilitate wasn't even necessary as Snowflake would easily take it out in one turn (plus small gray glitches if the fight happened to start with those instead of green ones. I think I got to level 43 before I got tired of the grind (as the EXP from winning once barely added a tiny psliver to the bars).

jack masri The only thing that some of the type of monsters here aren't present just as the status effects like Bless, Brave, Auto-Revive, Morale, Regen, Syphon, Doom, Instant Death, Slime, Wet, Tired, Dispel, Weaken and Stagger. The same goes for the Pokémon types as there are extra types associated in EBF compare to Pokémon like Bomb type, Holy type and Wind type monsters.

How's it gone so far? got like 1 or 2 bosses that are dicks and refuse to be caught? For me my first run is fucking epic difficulty all the way through, and jesus fuck i refuse to try to catch the super bosses, i've caught all normal bosses, just fuck the super bosses for captures.

How to capture anything step-by-step 1. Use "Putrid worm" to severely debuff the foe's evade (which is the most important part) 2. Use "Dark clay" to plunge the foe in utter dismay as it severely debuffs the foe's attack and defense. 3. Use "SMOG" on the foe to inflict every knows the status of ailments in the book. 4. Give the foe a good "Bow whack" from Anna to ensure surrendering (ignore this step if you're planning to catch a boss) 5. Pray that none of them Use "Cleanse" on your target.

true. BUT, my absolute favorite summon has to be Viking Monolith, especially when it gets auto-cast by the Fur Dress equip. Literally gives you 2x the time which can get you out of complicated situations or just deal massive damage ( *cough* The Beyond's triple Monolith encounter finished in one turn at level 35-36 thanks to Limit Breaks + VMonolith)

LOLNO. 5: Easier Captures aren't the only thing that this bad boy can accomplish. (Although the most likely reason you're using him). 4: Attack and Defense, Hand in Hand. 3: The Monoliths' Worst Day Ever. (Unless they have Physical Attacks). 2: You thought it was your turn? TOO BAD, IT'S OURS! (Yes, that includes the summoner). 1: The summon you're most likely going to use the most, second only possibly to the Red Flybot.

I'm surprised Putrid Worm or the Green Pixel didn't make it onto the list. They are High Accuracy ways of inflicting Evade Down and the kinda rare Tired. Good for keeping those High Evade targets in place and staying in place without dumping a crapton of SP.

The Gunslinger has to be a top tier Damage dealing summon sure that 50% is annoying but using this along with the enchant gloom it can Deal a good chunk of damage to bosses and possibly one shot tough Minions that are tanky and annoying.

The bone hydra is the best in my opinion. Its just that its so hard to get, as if leaving it to one head is hard enough. Its very persistent, i left it down to 1hp using anna's "bow wack" ability, and made it have bad luck by using nolegs doll. It just kept standing strong to the point he summons more heads and I raged and ended up killing it entirely.

The strategy I do to fight the hydra is keep all of their health low and inflict with tired, weak and curse. Once all three are low enough, I can just use capture three times and get them all before they can revive
