the argument with the soundchip is bullshit. 1. michael was an video game fan and played arcades (arcades from the late 80s had very similar soundchips) 2. he also played the genesis itself before (and sonic too) 3. also he had the moonwalker game on genesis with his music and even contributed the games concept.

It took me about 3 times to get 3 people together for this theory: Back in Halo 3 on the beginning of the last mission in campaign, if you activate Iron skull and a few other skulls, jump over a glitch space, rocket jump without dying over a huge gap, and crouch land over; you get to see the creator or one of the main developers in a bath tub jumping up and down in swimming trunks and goggles only. MISSION COMPLETE I found it and it was great and did it a few more times to show different friends. But I wish I had a PVR back then. Maybe I'll do it again sometime.

They are wrong as to why MJ left Sonic 3. Both Sega and reps of Mr. Jackson have said that MJ was not satisfied with the quality of the Genesis' sound chip and so he left. However Sega still worked closely with one of the producers that worked closely with MJ and so alot of the music came out the way it did.

Ziko577 that hasn't been confirmed in the least. Hyrule Historia is still high tier canon for the series until Nintendo either rewrites it, or confirms its uselessness. So far, in an interview, Aonuma has simply said that they're likely just going to leave the placement of Breath of the Wild up to fan interpretation. Which unless they find a fool-proof placement for it (which is unlikely since Nintendo gives zero shits about lore until the fans start saying something), it will likely be an indefinite decision.
