Those Batman fans that criticize the Nolan trilogy are assholes who just complain that it's not Keaton or Kevin Conroy. I loved the Dark Knight trilogy and I didn't let the voice get in the way of the amazing stories the movies had. I'm a huge batman fan and I loved the trilogy. Bale was the best Batman and Bruce Wayne and Heath was the best Joker. Only reason people praise Keaton is for nostalgic reasons. He was okay.

Metal Gear Rising? OK it wasn't as good as most of the main series games, but its got massive backlash with the change in style. Once played we got a god like soundtrack, fun/diverse combat, funny dialogue, simple story compared with the main series and arguably the best final boss of all time

Spec Ops: The Line turned out to be one the best games I've played. It's also one of the hardes. Not in gameplay. But in storyline, hard choices and disturbing twists. The game has several endings none from bad to very bad. It took balls to come up with this game as well as giving it the go ahead. Mafia III had a similar vibe. In Lincoln's story you hear all the names he's called by whites and city blacks believing they're better than Clay. You deal with klan like groups, blacks being kidnapped and even sold. What's somewhat alleviating is the brutal way in which deals with his vengeance. Another thing is Clay was a specialist in Vietnam and his old handler shows up after an unexpected start to get intel on the people he's after. This also has several endings. One of which is the most mindblowing, out of left and WTF moments in my gaming like. So Mafia III is a hard edge story that was hard to deal with and then Spec Ops comes along and makes Lincoln's story a cakewalk. Both games are WELL worth playing.

Metroid Prime series was amazing. People were so worried because the side scrolling was so established in the prior gameplay. But then it came out. I got lost in that game, was like being in space. Was so addictive and satisfying. The graphics, the music, the leveling up. Masterpiece. I think Other M is very underrated, and I also think they kinda could utilize this franchise more these days.

All of these video game videos on KZbin take me back to when I was a kid. I mostly had "video game based off of the movie" games. I was so lame back then; and at that time it was 20 years after the video game crash of 83. I never got any respect from the nerds at school and those types of games really had a bad rap with other gamers. It got better once I started playing Resident Evil and Halo. Heck, my little brother had more time with the consoles and I played on the PC and the handhelds more. I progressed farther on Halo 3 than my little brother without rage-quitting . Then I moved on to Sims and Mortal Kombat. My self confidence increased. Let me tell you about Shrek Super Slam. That was good.
