One of my biggest memories from my family trip to Disney in 2005 is swimming in the hotel pool. We stayed at All Star Sports and even though I know it is now very run down I still look back fondly on the place specifically the pool. I remember one morning I had gotten up pretty early and my mom told my dad, who was also awake early, to take me to the pool so she good keep sleeping. I could have spent all vacation in there.

Agree with Caribbean Beach. This pool was amazing and totally made my niece and nephew's trip. I wanted to add a shoutout to the Paddock pool at Saratoga Springs. This is a smaller pool at Saratoga, but it features a waterslide and is pretty quiet at night. You can also grab drinks and snacks at the snack bar. Pretty awesome experience.

🎉🎉🏖️ Wilderness Lodge pools both of them are great. Main pool is a lot of fun with stuff for kids to do, but a bit loud. The pool for Bolder Ridge, which is right around the corner is big and quiet. They are both very close to Geyser Point for drinks or snacks. Very good theming on the whole area.

I had no idea the pools were heated year round!! That is such a big thing for me! I’ve never been to WDW to see this for myself and I have always REFUSED to get in water it if it is even close to cold!! This is actually a reason I would actually think of choosing a DisneyWorld resort over another tbh.

I definitely think High Rock Springs at Saratoga deserves a shout, was a bit surprised not to see it on this list with its cool theming, water slide, hot tub, great bar, etc.

Loved both the little mermaid and finding Nemo pools at art of animation! They were perfect for my toddler and his first trip to Disney World. Also, it’s good to know that the Cars area has a pool too. We didn’t make it over to that area to check it out when we were there last week.

It’s funny because most of the time we travel to Disney between November and March, it’s too cold in Orlando to want to swim. Often in the 40’s 😂 and we are coming from SW Ontario Canada (it’s not as snowy or cold as Buffalo but still) - I would never count on beach or pool weather in Florida during the winter. I agree with you on all the pools, but dare I say they are even more important during the hot Florida summers? Love cooling off mid day in our resort pool!

I like the two feature pools at Saratoga Springs Resort - the Paddock pool has a 146ft slide down from a water tower plus a sweet kids water playground with 2 other slides and Highrock pool has a 128ft slide. The Grandstand pool has an awesome splash pad feature and the Springs quiet pool has the best view on Disney property, straight across the lake from Disney Springs, night swims are the best there!

I was at Wilderness Lodge, for the first time in a while, in May 2022. I was pleasantly surprised to see the theming of the leisure pool by Boulder Creek. Authentic-looking abandoned industrial theming. Not glamorous, but intriguing!

I have a vivid childhood memory of getting my parents to change our hotel from one with just a Mickey pool to French Quarter just for that dragon pool. I kept thinking it was Caribbean or Polynesian, but those were different trips now I think.

I’m disappointed not to see the good neighbor hotel pools, specifically Swan and Dolphin. Their pool has a water slide, bridges to swim under, a waterfall, and is a cheaper hotel stay than a Deluxe resort.

@@IsaiahslifeexperienceIt really depends where in Canada, it’s a huge country and temps vary from area to area, where we live the summers are very hot and humid. A lot like Florida. Winters are fairly mild, we got 2 big snow storms and 3 ice storms all winter, the rest no snow on the ground which was actually sad. It’s become a lot more mild last few years, but there are always a few days it gets really cold.

I am too Canadian but I often feel cold in Orlando in the winter time. Not sure why people think Orlando winters are hot. Some days can be, but it’s also often very cold. I find it too cold to swim. Whereabouts in Canada do you live? Our winders are fairy mild, with the occasional really cold few days. I think people think polar bears roam the streets in Canada and Canadians live in igloos but we do it to ourselves with our Canadian comments 🤣 We have friends that live in Massachusetts and also Chicago, colder in the winter than we have at home, and yet they still think it’s colder everywhere in Canada 😂.

The pools are only for guests staying at those hotels. You can check out everything else going on at AOA though and basically double your restaurant options (they have a pretty good Quick Service restaurant over there)

While these all look amazing, on our many trips to WDW (all staying on property), we have never once set foot in any pool. Who has time for that? We are at rope drop every morning and stay until the park closes at night. We go back to our hotel as quickly as possible and crash in bed to get up and repeat for every day of our trip. We don't go to WDW to relax - we go to experience as much in the parks as we can. We have never relaxed at WDW or Disneyland. It is always go, go, go!
