Didn't realize one could legally purchase a 1934 Gold Certificate in any denomination, thus the gold back instead of the green back from the Series 1928. Your number one, is still on my one day list. My old Middle School, which was once the Senior High School had some murals taken off money, one being the "History Instructing Youth" from the $1 Educational Series, and another was the five allegorical figures from that $100.

1934 was only bank to bank. I meant the 1928. The 34 had a gold back.

Extremely Nice set of notes to have. I have most of them, but would like vary much to get the $5 CSA note, been looking for a long time for one at a good price. And also the $5 1891 note.

I have the 1914 $100 and I was reading how the plate that the guy on the back that the Roman guy is holding is actually how you tell. One of the letters is off. Besides that is one of the best counterfeits ever produced that’s why there are so few of them. One I have is one of only 89 known. Crazy

Those are some great notes! Regarding the $100 1014 FRN, do you prefer the blue seal over the red seal? I just picked up a red seal, but both are cool

Lorenzo Hatch was an amazing portrait engraver.He also did US Grant on the $5 silver certs, Lincoln's original design on the current $5, which I think was originally on the 1882 $500 gold cert,and Fulton and Morse on the $2 educational.I would love all those notes too.Have a great Memorial Day 🇺🇸

A local coin shop has a 1901 $10 Bison note that is in very fine 20+ condition easily. He wants $885 for it. I didn't buy it. I looked it up when I got home, I should have bought it.

The rainbow series notes are tough to find in acceptable mid grade at a fair price. I see more uncirculated notes than VF. The 10 is proving very difficult. Don’t settle with a poor piece like I did though. Buy once, cry once.

How does one tell whether a note is a replica or not? Typically I would see “copy” written somewhere but can’t see it clearly for the notes you’ve shown in the video

These are all one sided. There is a separate note for the front and the back. Each is blank on one side. I put the two sides together in the sleeve and it looks good.

I don't really have a 10 ten list. I usually only buy what I find interesting. but if I had a top ten list. The number 1# banknote on my list would be another National. The Butler County National Bank & Trust Company of Butler, PA - Charter # 4374.2 ( Formally the Butler Country National Bank, when the bank changed it's Name ). So I can have a matching pair of nationals. from the same bank with two different names in the charter title on the banknotes for my collection.

I always look at them but they are a little steep and rightly so. But you are right, that’s on the list as well.
