The worst part of End of the Line? Imagine there was a Dedicated Deck, doing all that hooey to get your LP lower than 10 ~ only to see your Opponent drop an Ash Blossom to Negate your +3 RIP

Eka is an out to buster lock. You can steal opponent buster whelp and summon it to your side of field to get +2 general probe is pretty good in syphonic warrior, it generate counter each time a syphonic warrior card eff is activated, this includes the cards in pendulum zone and in GY and they have several pendulum monster and monster with GY eff. And since it search both the field spell and can generate symphonic counter you can double the symphonic counter generation so you can mass banish your opponent using the field spell eff.

Eka is shockingly very good in Vaylantz of all things. It's a deck in where you basically never need to Normal, so it fits right into the deck's playstyle

also, it main form of monster removal is pushing it into the spell and trap zone, so the deck essentially have a convoluted Snatch Steal if you managed to pull it of.

9 is arguably the reason why Symphonic Warriors can combo off on turn one and end on a 5-monster board and 2100 LP advantage. BUT they need two other cards to do that, and what's stopping their opponent Ashing the first search?

I’m playing symphonic warriors in master duel and when I draw this card first turn it is an actual godsend and I’m so glad an archetype I’ve wanted to play forever finally has good support

Titanomachina has that clause specifically because of cards that copy effects in GY. That way you can't just foolish 3, normal summon The Wicked Avatar and have a "free" board wipe.

I remember when End of the Line came out, people said "put it in Dinomorphia", because that deck had just been revealed in the same set. And I said "They are not playing this" and they didn't. Why? Because A the deck never gets that low, so you are preparing for something that rarely happens or will happen at the worst time. B. Draw traps are not good. Everyone loves drawing cards, sure, but this means you will not get the benifits of those card for like 3 turns. No you are not trap trick it. The deck doesn't play hope for escape, they are definitely not playing this.

You could activate Backs to the Wall, then negate it with Solemn Judgement, then activate End of the Line. You'd be a shrivaled husk ready to collapse from a stiff breeze, but it works.

Leafplace Plaice was meant to be used as a beatstick that can out certain tear monsters. Sadly, it sucked at that, due to the Beastals. But, unlike other cards that can revive itself from the GY, it doesn't banish itself afterwards, so it can be used multiple times a duel.

So fun fact it's possible to get your lp to 1 with Gandora the dragon of destruction and Paleozoics its considered an infinite loop. Paleo is immune to monster effect gondora blows up the field except paleo and you can keep doing it due to it not being once per turn set End of the Line pass activate it on standby and get 4 cards then die because 1 lp and a dream isn't enough to stop a good deck

I love Rover. I resolved the pop effect at a sneak peak 3 times against the same opponent and only missed like 2 out of like 15 on the revival effect. It was fun.

So the best deck in the TCG right now is Tearlaments, so that Leafplace Plaice is actually decent at getting big, since Tear is milling 15+ cards on your turn. Also, there's a Musical Sumo FTK. It's amazingly dumb and uses That 6.

End of the Line is basically Dinomorphia and nothing else. But even in that deck getting to ten is hard, you either win or lose by that point. 8000 4000 2000 1000 500 250 125 63 32 16 8 10 Dinomorphia effects to get it live.

I wouldn't use End of the Line... but, i can say i grind out a duel with someone on master duel while using Dinomorphia i believe it was against Aroma. and I legit did finally win the duel with 1 LP left. I kept halving and halving.... But, i did win the duel. i could have had that sweet 4 card draw... haha.

End of the Line is playable almost exclusively in Dinomorphia, which can reliably draw 4, if you feel like being at risk of dying to a misplaced pebble on the ground. Everyone seems to forget that Utopia Prime is a card that exists - it sets your LP to 10! Which means all you need is one Dinomorphia Trap after that, and End of the Line is a juicy +3. Just uh, just make sure you summon Stealthbergia after that so that you can keep using your suite of LP cost traps.

Reptia Egg can also summon Rocks because it's one of Jim Crocodile Cook's cards from the GX manga. He used alligators in the manga (reptiles) and fossil fusions in the anime (rocks). So it's basically konami's way of stealth-supporting the waaay better anime deck via the manga deck.

Some of these cards make me wish there was a gimmick accolade tab on Master Duel. For instance, completely resolve End Of The Line. Summon Ultimate Great Moth properly. Resolve all Gimmick Puppet alternate win conditions. Summon Duel Link Dragon and win the game with the token. Empty your opponent's hand with only Mecha Phantom Beast Jaculuslan. Yata-lock your opponent. Resolve the Mekk Knight field spell. Fill every column with a Mekk Knight while simultaneously having all 3 of their World Legacy floodgates active. Use every Exodia alt win con. Summon Exodia Necross on your first turn. Win with the Blasting The Ruins pseudo-FTK. Any other ideas?

I presume in terms of actually functioning as opposed to lore, Reptia Egg is meant for Reptiles and designed to make you eat as much damage as possible in order to play into Damage = Reptile.

With General probe activating 3 effects is not hard by any means since the Pendulums either bounce themselves or special summon form deck, and both piiano and Druums (the loop cards) are soft once per turns both on field and in grave. Honestly by no means a bad card *in its own archetype*. Plus it's counters can be expended by synthfire for a board wipe

You could use Gandora the Dragon of Destruction to get you LP low enough, but then you have to set it and flip it on the opponent's and that's not very great... maybe gandora, set this and life equalizer, flip life both to get the draw then eat your opponent's LP?

It's funny that you say Generalprobe is one of the worst cards of 2022, but it actually has amazing synergy with Symph Ampifire. You'd be forgiven for thinking that it's a RotA that does nothing on its own, but Generalprobe is another card that can hold Symph Counters. What this means is that suddenly (in addition to the new Symphonic Rock support) those effects on Ampifire become much more realizable and can win games more consistently as long as you have a big band out

Battle protection is not bad per say. It's just not good enough as a stand alone effect. It needs to be packaged in with another effect that complements it. Kind of like piercing. It good but not on it's own like it used to
