Fun fact about Zorc: the ritual monster is based on the first time bakura shows up in the manga. They all play DND with him as the DM, and Zorc is the demon king in that one shot. Dark Master even abbreviates to DM. That’s also probably why the effect involved a die as well.

To me, ritual summoning is the coolest concept in the game, as far as the "lore" or whatever you would call that goes. It's honestly one of the reasons why I keep being interested in it (obviusly not the only one though, that would be torture).

Someone won a Shonen Jump (what we used to call YCS's for the zoomers out there) main decking Dark Master Zorc. It was the Demise ritual deck that played vanilla bugs to send off ARA as fodder for Doom Dozer. (That's the deck that got ARA limited for all those years.)
