- Number 86: Heroic Champion- Rhongmiant. This is a prime example of a card that should not have been made. I think it's possible to run this guy in a Six Samurai deck since they're still a pretty fast deck. I also think you can run him in a E. Hero deck. - Sauropod Brachion is sorta broken in a way. You can flip him face down anytime during your turn, if he's Flip Summoned all other cards are flipped face-down and you opponent takes double the damage if they attack him while in Defense position. - A majority of the Rank 4 XYZ monsters.

I forgot to mention a few more cards: -Madolche Queen Tiaramisu, or pretty much the entire Madolche archetype. Since these cards NEVER hit Graveyard. You will NEVER deck out unless you run some cards that banish cards instead of sending them to the Graveyard like Macro Cosmos or Dimensional Fissure. - Judgement Dragon. This thing needs to be Limited. Lightsworns are good enough! There is nothing worse your opponent getting 3 JDs out in less than a few turns. - Legendary Six Samurai - Shi En and Great Shogun Shien. These two work together in harmony. More like in hell for your opponent. Shien makes it so that your opponent can use 1 Spell/Trap card per turn and Shi En prevents your opponent from using a Spell/Trap card that turn. These two make an annoying lock. - The entire Meta Game... Shadolls, Tellarknights, Fire Fist, Madolche, etc. Konami's just making some broken ass cards and archtypes now. There are decks out there that are crying out for extra support.

Machina Fortress is my favorite card. I actually played a Machina deck until Xyz appeared. Those were simpler times, when Trishula and Shi En where the most OP cards that existed and Stardust Dragon was still relevant.

Judgment Dragon seems pretty broken. Despite being my favorite card, I think it is incredibly overpowered. He's relatively easy to Special Summon and sure his effect comes at a cost of 1000 Life Points. But all the effects that go off when monsters are destroyed by card effects or protection cards. Like Fire Kings, Seal of Orichalcos, Field Barrier, or Yubel for instance. -JD Nuke *Kick off Yubel effect and SS Terror Incarnate* -JD Nuke again *Kick off Terror Incarnate and SS Ultimate Nightmare* -JD Nuke one more time You've just blown away that whole set. The fact that you can use it over and over and over and over and over during the same turn as much as you want so long as you have the Points to pay - makes Judgment Dragon ridiculous in my opinion.

Hey Azneyes, you forgot a really broken combo with Honest, in my watt deck I love running 2-3 call of the hunted along with 3 pin point guards, I love getting Honest back with pin point guard and using it as a block for that turn because it can't be destroyed by battle or card effects, then just add it to my hand next turn.

I learned about Machina Fortress from playing the Reverse of Arcadia game. Also, I think a broken (legal) card is White Night Dragon. "Oh, you want to Magic Cylinder? Well SCREW YOU! You want to attack my weak Melodious Diva Canon? Well, how about I lose this trap card and make you attack my beefy dragon instead?" Seriously, White Night in conjunction with a card like Ultimate Offering so you can summon it on your opponent's Battle Phase and then get rid of UO to switch the target of their attack from a weak monster to White Night is absolutely amazing, and it's a card that I personally main.

Yata Garasu was the worst designed card in the game. I lost to it in the finals of a tournament before it was perma-banned, and it took all of my willpower not to pull a Weevil and destroy this guy's card. It is the most overpowered Yu-Gi-Oh! card in existence. As for legal cards, it's hard to say. I think Blackwings and Six-Samurai are super overpowered theme decks, but I can't say any one card in those decks is overpowered in comparison to the cards I run. They just combo and swarm so much better than anything else in existence.

David Yoon Garunix's return effect works next turn, and in the grave, as soon as it leave the field it gets it effect back. both the searchign effect and return effect would work with Onslaught. I use it with Sacred Nix for the same reasons.

Actually baby Garunix cannot special summon Garunix. Baby Garunix effect says you can special summon any "Fire King Avatar" monster. Garunix's full name is Fire King HIGH Avatar Garunix as opposed to the rest of the archetype monsters whose names are all Fire King Avatar. So with baby garunix you can special summon Barong, Yaksha, Kirin, or another baby Garunix, but not the big garunix.

Gai charger is designed fine. There are 5 rank, 6 rank, and 7 rank xyz monsters that all have attack power near his (or better) but with much better abilities. In exchange Gai is much easier to send out

I guess I should of made it more clear what I meant. Yeah the big dragons are great, I tend to use Tidal in Frogs, Tempest in Harpies and etc. The problem is that they can be used for any Rank 7s. They should of made it so that they can only be used for either Dragon XYZ or an XYX depending on the type of the Dragon used. e.g. Tidal can be used for Mermail Abyssgaios and Tempest can be used for Starship Galaxy Tomahawk. This would prevent summoning Big Eye, but Dracossack is still there.

Cards that come to my mind are TG Halberd Cannon and The Ocean Dragon Lord Neo-Deadalus. (I haven't seen the vid yet, so I don't know if these are in the vid itself) TG Halberd Cannon has a 4000 attack and can negate an opponent's summon if he's face-up on the field, and he can do that every turn. if you can't special summon, you're dead. Neo -Deadalus, with 2900 attack, can wipe the entire field and both player's hands by sending "umi" or any card whose name is Umi to the graveyard. there are a lot of cards with names of Umi, including Legendary Ocean. you can't hold off for long after that effect activates.

I vote Reshef, the Dark Being. Literally turns every spell in your hand into Change of Heart. Makes it so extra ritual spells aren't dead draws, bypasses most forms of removal blocking, and slots into ritual decks relatively easily (had him as backup in Prediction Princess, quickly became more than backup). Oh, and he can take an Honest boost if it happens to be in your deck. Quite frankly, I think everyone just kind of forgot about him when Demise OTK happened and just never remembered him.

If I had just one? Nekroz of Sophia. To be honest, the Nekroz and Shaddoll (especially Shaddoll) had some of the worst-designed cards ever. It's as if they were designed to never, ever lose advantage. Every relevant member has 2 or 3 effects. The Nekroz Rituals not only replicate banned cards' effects (main deck three Trishula lol), but can be discarded from the hand for spell effects. If Brionac bricks your hand, discard it to search another Nekroz. It makes Nekroz just too damn consistent. Shaddoll are in a similar vein. Shad Fusion, Winda and Anomalilith are given some pretty borked effects. Shaddoll fusion maintains incredible advantage by Fusing within the deck (and pulling off effects of sent Shaddolls). The Fusions give you back a Shaddoll spell when they're sent to the grave. I dislike the design of the more recent archetypes. They are too incredibly fast and power-creeped, and like I said, it seems like they were made to just not lose advantage.

I agree, it's a great card for the game the way it is HOWEVER if it were a more unique effect (say we didn't have Jinzo, Royal Decree, Breakthrough Skill etc etc) then it would be technically game breaking by disrupting the pace of the game in an unexpected way. With the other cards in the game, it's a great card that disrupts the pace of the game in an expected way, so not broken by any means.

Does Skill Drain work on monsters in pendulum zones? I don't think so, that would help. That aside, I think the Qliphorts are poorly designed anyways, from the wall of text to the strange extra deck hopping and the 2-5 summoning conditions... Beast King Barbaros + Skill Drain has been in the game since Dark Crisis and broken nothing... Strange card interactions are kinda cool too... One thing I will say about YOUR comment is the last bit ("it's just a matter of time until a card like Skill Drain becomes degenerate again"). It's either broken or it's not, if it's only too good in the meta BECAUSE of the meta then it's not degenerate.

I hope you're not mad, this convo is enlightening! I'll be honest, I play a lot of MtG and Hearthstone but not much Yugioh because I don't like reading and remembering that much text (took me ages to figure out how to play Shadolls due to forgetting which card did what). So yeah, I agree with you, it's super powerful and game-changing when it's played and especially with the right support. However, I think since it's not a unique effect and since it promotes healthy counter play (it's good against certain things, with certain things and a card to prepare and plan for) it's not a badly designed card. The question is whether it's just too powerful which is may very well be! Very similar hoser cards in Imperial Order and Macro Cosmos are banned or restricted, so maybe... And Qliphort decks. They often just lose to consistent effect creature decks when they don't get Skill Drain or when their Skill Drain is killed off so limiting or banning Skill Drain would be a nerf to an interactive deck that doesn't consistently win best of threes anyway.

the problem is that garunixs' effect activates in the grave so onslaught pretty much does nothing but give you a free 2700 monster that destroys every monster on the field. in addition, the damn thing loops with other garunix, meaning you can get a field sweep every turn, removing all hope of summoning anything that can stay on the field for long.

Morphtronic Magnen Bar. It's funny to get 15,000+ attack with Limiter Removal, Gravity Warrior, Morphtronic Rusty Engine, and Morphtronic Map. But, why? Unless you have Twin Swords of Flashing Light- Tryce. And then there are still countless ways to just counter all of that.

I'm guilty to use just a couple myself but *Dragged Down* is really cheap designed, both hands exposed to get rid of whatever we want, it wouldn't deserve to be limited if *only* the discarding part was *at random* from both sides without looking at both hands, imo it wouldn't be too busted that way XD

though its not overpowered, I think the most poorly designed card is lucky punch, if your opponent attacks toss 3 coins, if their all heads draw 3 cards, if the result is 3 tails destroy this card. If this card is destroyed: YOU LOSE 6000 LIFE POINTS which is just ridiculous because even if you manage to use this card and get the three cards your opponent can just MTS it or something like that.

AznEyes AKA Slaydra So with Vayu: If this card is face up on the field you can't use it to synchro. If this card is in the graveyard you can banish this card and any number of non-"tuner" blackwings (this counts as a synchro summon), you can then summon any synchro monster you have met the Level requirements for. Whats so complicated about the card.

About the Fire King thing: The Onslaught card specifically states that it negates the card's effect. So the Fire King is just a strong monster, no effect, no explosions, no re-summon, nothing. Just a one-turn hit-stick.

+gravisamurai89 I thought that at first but actually it's re-summoning and explosion effect still goes off after your turn ends. That's because the monster's effect is negated on the field but not in the graveyard. I know it's kinda weird but there are rulings about it on the internet and it works like that on YGOPRO.

How about... um dracossack? A card that has an archetype but is so utterly broken that you're crazy if you don't run it in a rank 7 deck? Also, it's damn near invincible; if you're going to nuke the field with him there, better be able to do it twice. If not, he's just going to spawn more tokens next turn. Oh, and did we mention, he can pop anything as long as you tribute a mecha phantom beast monster, and the tokens can be used for this effect? If I had to compare to the other rank 7's I'd say he's just as bad, if not worse than, big eye.

If you have Great Shogun Shien out on the field AND Legendary Shi-en, you are allowed to play one a turn still. If you had two mst's or something and played one, and Six sam guy said "negated" , than the negation of the card meant it didnt happen, meaning you can still play one that turn : )! my best friend runs them still, and i found out rulings for that a while back, just thought i'd help out

Bujin Yamato- the toolboxing card whose only downside is that you can only play one at a time. And even then, you can discard the extra copies for any piece of the deck you want. It's a point of variance extraction that is beyond what any TCG needs.

Machina Fortress is an excellent design and an overall fair card. It basically just generates a stream of 1-for-1's or even -1's. Discarding two machines a turn DOES catch up to you. But it creates an interesting sub-game where you have to figure out how to manage your resources making for fun, dynamic gameplay that rewards skill. Moreover, in the current era of yugioh, it just isn't broken and while it has been very good it has never been broken.

Striker is at 1 because when Trish was legal, agents were powerful. Problem was you needed a 2 star tuner with venus to get trish out turn 2. However, after you summon earth to get venus then pass, Earth was almost always destroyed by a stronger monster. The stronger monster being left on your opponents field it gave you the chance to SS striker then summon venus and make trish. It was a key part in making Agents so consistently strong.

I would say Gorz. It basically punishes your opponent for attempting to actually win. While you can go around it, the threat of Gorz itself can cause you to have to massively delay you which can allow an opponent to actually come back. The threat of Gorz itself is far more devastating than the actual card, that I think it's massively problematic. Honourary mentions go to Maxx "C" for the same reason and Royal Tribute.

Wouldn't that be the same as the ruling with solemn warning and negating the normal summon though? As you only get 1 normal summon per turn. E.G - player 1 normal summons, player 2 plays solemn warning negating the normal summon, player 1 then cannot normal summon again

My fav card is Chaos Emperor Dragon Envoy of The End, but even I hope to god it never gets un-band. If there are 6 cards in both players hands and 5 cards in both player's spell/trap zones, and 9 other monsters on the field, it's effect will do 10500 points of damage with it's effect the moment it activates it's effect. If that comes of the ban list, so many people I feel, will leave the game in frustration after they get OTK'd by one card

Torretial tribute is pretty OP. When you summon a monster all your monsters is destroyed wich means that can't summon another monster to stop your oponent to spam direct attacks.

well i don't think that really changed this days actually cause believe it or not, it was still allowed to S.Judgement when i flip summon a flip effect monster stopping my effect lol, i feel it will be same case with Warning and it's becomming a confusing issue to me if there's not a ruling check about that ;P

Inzektors Hornet, Dragonfly and Centipede. Inzektors are so cheap. Nobody should play them. Also Dragon Rulers, they look so cool, but are very overpowered. So good they were, that they're all limited now and the baby dragons forbidden. Some think the dragon ruler deck is the best in yugioh.

Or change the wording on the cards as such: You can Special Summon this card by banish two (Insert Attribute) type monsters. They can not be Dragon Type monsters.

Huh the worst designed yugioh card? It's gotta be a tie between 2, I guess, in my personal opinion. 1. Cold Feet. Seriously, look it up. 2. The Humble Sentry. Again, look it up. Those cards are simply cards that just suck. I found that you can mystical refpanel to gain a tad of advantage with them, but we all know that refpanel is far more useful against cards that plus. Why neg yourself using a card that can be used to plus like crazy? And I think you could've easily looked at super rejuvenation. Unlike Maxx 'c' or pot of duality, you can use more than one a turn, and being a quick play it's just so stupid. Draw 7 off of a rejuve, and draw into a rejuve? Hey! Why not Draw 7 again!
