He is awful. The Keemstar Saga really deserves it's spot, not just in DSP History but in LolCow History. Chris Chan would have taken the deal. Cobra would have taken the deal. The most insane part for me is the fact that Keemstar was right in that everyone would win from that deal: Phil, Boogie, and Wing's dents would absolutely watch and support to "Prove the Trolls Wrong", so they would send in tips and superchats meaning they would make money off them. Trolls/Detractors would have to watch just to see how long the trashfire of a show would last, not to mention the amount of gold dust and memes they would get out of it. Phil, Boogie, and Wings would be getting steady paychecks, meaning they woulnd't need to beg as much and thats not to mention whatever sponsorships they're able to get from Keemstar. The show would be under their complete control which is a huge deal for a new project thats getting financial backing from someone else. Sure Keem would probably insist they do stupid shit that'll go viral on the internet but they also clean up their image a lot by being employed and actually trying to keep the show going. There was really no downside because even if the Detractors/Trolls stopped watching, thats a win for those three because that means less people pointing out their bullshit and they can probably scam harder. All Phil would have had to do was just put his ego aside, pick up the phone, and then say "yes, when do we start?" and boom, 50K for those Hogan pulls.
