I actually disagree with ManUNkind, Some Kind Of Monster, Am I Savage, IDHAS and Dirty Window. ManUNkind is my favourite song of Hardwired due to it's unique grooves and just overrall catchyness. (9.4/10) SKOM could be shorter yes but at least the sections on it are exciting. It's pretty epic and very heavy. My favourite song of St.Anger with The Unnamed Feeling. (9.1/10) Am I Savage is a solid song imo. That breakdown is cool and that that pre-chorus is a nice transition. One of my least favourite of Hardwired but far from one of their worst songs overrall. (8.1/10) IDHAS is repetetive which is why I don't listen to it very often but it's still pretty solid with that epic intro, some of the great grooves and that catchy chorus. Again.. far from a bad song. (8.5/10) Dirty Window is bit of a rough listen on the album especially because of the vocals but live that song is great. The chorus as well as the riffs are badass. (8.3/10) These were just my opinions. Goes to show how impressive their catalogue is as it has something for everyone to enjoy.

Yeah, I always try to enrich my vocabulary and improve on my english even tho there are like 2 spelling in the video, lol. In regards to your list it's pretty valid, those songs are mostly terrible but I personally quite enjoy Murder One. I'm looking forward to doing other bands this year.

Some things I find good about IDHAS: Cool intro The instruments are good (apart from the solo) The "Temptation" part sounds like young James. The opening riff Kirk plays Honestly tho I think it's a LOT better than SKoM.

I listened only to 5 first Metallica albums and tried to listen to load and reload, but I really don't like them. They're for some reason started to play like everything in major (if I'm not mistaken), and started to sound very unemotional and fake. St Anger☠️. I like the snare, but in music what Metallica did there, it's just doesn't fit. I listened to unforgiven ll and it's just sound not honest, so I love version of it called in rtl tone, check sometime.

Poor Twisted Me is the worst of the worst, completely agree on this one. I think you are too harsh with some of them, Dirty Window, Slither and especially Am I Savage aren't that bad. Murder One is definitely worse than all of those, if you ask me. And some dishonorable mentions could be GAW Better Than You, Attitude, My World, All Within My Hands, and I really can't stand Screaming Suicide.

Poor Twisted Me is Metallica doing Mountain and Van Halen volume swells and fading in notes. It's a good song as long as you know where the guitar style is coming from. Go back to Van Halen "Somebody Get Me A Doctor" off Van Halen II and Mountain "Dream Sequence" of Flours Of Evil. Also doing ZZ Top "Pincushion". You guys must be pretty young not to know or understand what they are doing or trying to sound like. It's a advanced guitar technique many of the most iconic and legendary players use.

I like Load and Reload, for me it has that weird aura - If I want to take a break from "serious metallica", I go with these 2 albums to chill out, I like how it feels messy and blues rocky. I'd put Where the wild things are to top 10 worst (sorry Jason), I cant stand that song :/ I agree with IDHAS, they really milked that simple riff throughout the whole song, intro too long. Some kind of Monster - only listen to the "Edit" 4::16 long version from 2004, a different level of the song, it's massively good.

My Top (Or, I guess Bottom) 10 worst Metallica Songs: 10 - Poor Twisted Me Rating: 3.5/10 I don't think this song is actually that bad, but it's very lame compared to other Metallica songs 9 - Attitude Rating: 2.5/10 This song sucks. 8 - Better Than You Rating: 2/10 This song is so boring and repetitive. How did it win a Grammy? 7 - Murder One Rating: 1.5/10 The intro reminds me a lot of Welcome Home (Sanitarium), and, it's the only good part of the song. The rest is just...I don't like it, like at all. 6 - Shoot Me Again Rating: 1.5/10 I hate it! It's so unbelievably cringe, and not in the charming Dirty Window way. It's just cringe. The main riff saves it from being lower for me, but I do not like this song at all. 5 - The Unforgiven III Rating: 1/10 What the fuck happened here? We went from the works of art that were The Unforgiven and The Unforgiven II to...whatever this is. I don't know if they used some shitty autotune or something, but I hate James' vocals here. I don't know why, they just suck. Also, the instruments don't do this song any favors either. It's also just a very, very boring song. 4 - Cure Rating: 1/10 This song is sooooooooooooooo boring. I hate it! 3 - [Anesthesia] -- Pulling Teeth Rating: 1/10 I appreciate this song, if you can call it one, existing. It's a really good showcase of Cliff Burton's (rest in peace) skills on bass. However, it fails at the one thing a song should do, which is, you know, be a song. And that's a shame, because this song had so much potential to be a really amazing instrumental. As much as I love Cliff Burton's skills, this song is very noisy, unstructured and boring to listen to. This is the definition of wasted potential. 2 - Purify Rating: 0.5/10 Man, I fucking hate this song! The snare here is horrible and the chorus is somehow even worse! It would honestly be 0/10, but the main riff is kinda cool, so it gets bumped up half a point. Still, though, it's easily in the 2nd worst Metallica song. 1 - Slither Rating: 0/10 That intro is horrible and I would not be surprised if it ruptured someone's eardrums. And, it doesn't get any better after that. Side Note: I respect your opinion, but I don't like that you put Dirty Window and Some Kind of Monster on this list.

Dirty Window had some great ideas but on the final recording no doubt was executed poorly. BUT it actually is a banger live. This list is pretty much in line with what I’d rank up as their worst but I’d replace Anesthesia with Purify, and I’d replace Dirty Window with All Within My Hands

My opinion on the songs you chose: ManUNkind (2.5/10) The intro is nice, the bridge is cool and the rest sucks. The solo is literally a medley of noises lol. Some Kind Of Monster (7/10) The main riff and chorus are so cool; there are some good parts and interesting riffs, plus the snare doesn't sucks. i disagree with you this time. Am I Savage (5.5/10) Completely saved by a riff, but ok. I mean, the song is almost ok, except some parts. If Darkness Had A Son (5/10) It's not THAT bad. This song contains one of the worst solos kirk wrote, but that TEMPTATION part is cool and the verses are so. Cringe ass lyrics tho, plus boring and repetitive main riff. Anesthesia (8.5/10) I understand your opinion. But i like it and it was a total revolution back then. I agree that as a song it feels strange, but i enjoy it when i listen to it. Cure (1.5/10) This is the worst metallica song in my opinion. It sucks soooo much, except that "betting on the cure" bridge. Dirty Window (8/10) My favorite song of St. Anger! I think this is so fun. Completely wasted potential also by the snare in the verses, that really sounds like a kitchen kit. Shoot Me Again (2/10) 2nd worst imo. So cringe lyrics... and it sucks. Slither (4.5/10) Ok, take out the intro. Is this song THAT bad? The main riff is fun and cool, just as the solo. The pré-chorus is an abomination, like the intro, so this song is very far from being good, but honestly it gets too much hate. Poor Twisted Me (2.5/10) Not simply bad, it's just so boring and repetitive. It hasn't really a bad part, but it isn't even a bit fun or enjoyable... For this reason i prefer songs like slither: with something horrible but at least a bit fun. My list: 10. Murder One (4) 9. My World (3.5) 8. Invisible Kid (3) 7.
