Suicide Squad was shit. As a self proclaimed D.C. fanboy, I can say that Suicide Squad was horrendous. It met NONE of my expectations and actually achieved the unexpected, which was to suck ass. The pacing made no fucking sense, the plot made no fucking sense, the jokes made no fucking sense, the random music made no fucking sense, and the joker made no fucking sense. The Joker was quite possibly the worst thing about the movie. The actor's acting was so shit that I was cringing every time he appeared. I literally silently begged him to stfu when i was watching the movie in theaters. Everything about his acting was unnecessarily forced.

ghostbusters is THE worst film, pre production, the film, and post production the way the crew held themselves while promoting the film was horrendous, "watch this and enjoy it or you are a misogynistic and sexist male pig", great way to promote your movie and get men to go see it, the film tried too hard and failed at an ungodly level to be what the comedy from the original, the only actress in the movie that was actually decent was strangely enough the one who got all that hate on twitter, the one who deserves the hate for her ignorant acting is mcarthie, I've hated her clumsy comedy acting style for years, shes the millenial version of chris farley, and then after the film, there are literally rose-colored-glasses people who still defend the piece of shit even after its failure and still say a sequel will happen, my walmart has mounds of backstock on copies of the movie that they can't sell

Ok, something needs to be said, lots of people are bashing Suicide squad and putting it on their worst lists of 2016.Just because it is one of the most disappointing films of 2016 does not mean that it deserves a spot on the top 10 worst list. Sure it is not a great movie, it's pacing was sometimes off and The Joker did not play as bigger part in the film as some of us expected, but it still provided good acting performances such as Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn and a few good action sequences.What is ridiculous is how this was placed lower then flops such as Nine Lives and Fifty shades of Black. If a film is disappointing and doesn't meet your expectations, that doesn't mean that it should be bashed and placed on a top 10 worst list of the year. People need to realize that a disappointing movie is not always a terrible movie.

I liked a lot of the performances and a few individual scenes were pretty cool but the dialogue was super-cringy and the editing was a goddamn train wreck. It felt like a shitty ripoff of The Avengers. They had a unique setup and they totally wasted it with a generic, poorly-written story. I made an honest effort to like it but it's so obnoxiously, aggressively stupid at times I almost feel like it wants me to hate it. The sad thing is that the DCU movies have so much more creative potential than the MCU movies, but they keep fucking up the execution by trying and appeal to both the mass market and hardcore DC fans, and as a result they end up pleasing no one except for edgy 14-year olds who grew up unironically thinking Heath Ledger's Joker was the coolest thing ever while completely missing the point of the character. You don't need a critic to tell you this movie was bad: if you've ever picked up a DC comic you'll immediately be able to point out things that could have been done better.

It was just so conveniently placed in case the assassins wanted to rebel against them? - How did the assassins got so fast to London, considering they were all dead and had no money, no passports, no nothing? AND the templars were already ahead of them? - Why did the female scientis (can't remember their names, whatever) let the hero kill her father, and then wanted revenge? - HOW did the hero killed the templar leader in front of everyone? There wasn't a single fuckin' guard around him? Just look at how many gurds the Pope has in real life. And that's just from the top of my head.

Can I remind you that the movie managed to show it well that Sophia (her name) was someone who cared about people and the actual cause while it was her father who was the problem. She had control over that specific project and thanks to a lot of this research she managed to find Kal and it wouldn't be in her character to just say "fuck you" to everyone else. When her father says they're about to leave she knows what he has ordered (the purge) and says this big "*NO*" to him but he's the dick. Second. Well she couldn't really stop him but put yourself in her situation (before that I'm gonna note something - this is just speculation but I can bet my ass that in the Animus she saw an Assassin who looked just like her and then her father took her and she was struggling. I'm almost sure she must have an assassin ancestor and is probably taken away and raised from the templars or anyone before her) As I was talking about her not stopping Kal. Imagine it. You're not confident who you truly are, you kinda know that your father (even if occasionally he isn't) is indeed wrong about stuff. But I think she isn't exactly wanting revenge. She isn't truly sad about him dying. I think she doesn't prefer her father's methods and wants to achieve something different and is more like "I'll find the orb and I'll make this NWO thing". Anyway it's a lot of speculation and sadly it's one of the film's flaws that it would suck without a sequel and that's why I really want it to happen. Though it seems unlikely.

KaloTube The second is not a nitpick at all. The fact that the assassins can simply teleport to where the plot needs them to be equals to lazy writing and a huge plot hole. And like I said these are just some flaws from the top of my mind, overall I felt extremely bored by the whole movie, only the few action scenes in the past were kinda cool. And a sequel is not unlikely at all since the movie cashed in a huge amount of money on hype alone.

Now before you say it's because they liked the movie, watch their 10 best movies of 2016 video. It wasn't included there either. Watchmojo wants nothing to do with this movie. And they're not the only ones who chickened out of this movie. Some other platforms include Screen Junkies and Cinemassacre. When Screen Junkies did their Honest Trailer on it, they turned off the comments as a way of silencing trolls, feminists, feminazis, SJWs and other people who had anything negative to say about it.. Now as for Cinemassacre, James Rolfe did a video explaining what he thought of the trailer and said that he would not be seeing or reviewing the movie because he decided that it didn't interest him. Both Cinemassacre and Screen Junkies faced backlash because of this. Now not including Ghostbusters in both videos is Watchmojo's way of avoiding any sort of backlash. Honestly I feel that Watchmojo made the right decision by not including it here or in the other video. Especially since it's certified fresh on Rotten Tomatoes anyway.

Also I'm pretty sure a RT score of 31% isn't exactly "positive review" material. Also it completely underperformed for it's $165m in America. To be successful, in the studio executive's eyes, you have to earn both the production budget AND the marketing/distribution budget (I don't know it for Independence Day Resurgence off the top of my head) domestically. Independence Day Resurgence did not make even the production budget. Suicide Squad made both.

hayong choung Yeah the drop was significant, but I was referring to the overall money it made in the end. It did a lot better than Independence Day: Resurgence proportionally. It made both the production and distribution/marketing budget domestically. Hell, while in my opinion BvS is a better movie by far, it actually made a lot less than Suicide Squad considering that BvS had a far, far larger budget (though BvS still didn't bomb).
