The problem with "worst movies of all time" lists is that, inevitably, they turn out to be "worst movies within the living memories of the list creator's target demographic," and that demographic's living memory is usually 20 years or less.

They also rarely look at actual obscure movies, which is where many of the actual worst movies are. Like Violent Shit (yes, that is the actual title), a movie that somehow got a theatrical release despite having audio so muffled it's unintelligible, sometimes runs at 2 frames a second, and is basically a series of events where you meet a few characters, only to see them get killed off before you know them. And that's not even touching on the bizarre ending where the killer collapses, his skin rots off, and he rips himself open, revealing a baby. Even crazier, that movie somehow got 3 sequels and a 2015 remake. And that's not the worst movie I've heard of.

To be fair, a lot of film makers have become lazy and unimaginative since the turn of the millennium, there are far more bad films being concocted now than in the 1990s and earlier, especially in the comedy field. Funny used to equal wit and clever writing, nowadays it's all toilet humour and embarrassing slapstick that a 5 yearly could come up with.

DB:E failed for being a horrible adaptation. The Room failed for even its very concept being complete and utter garbage, let alone the actual acting and production; it only gets a pass because it's actually pretty fun to watch the movie, and mock the ever-loving hell out of it, with friends.

There was nothing funny about Batman and Robin. It was absolute rubbish with the worst acting. Arnold was no way Dr Freeze, he doesnt even suit the character. Yes Clooney was a decent Bruce Wayne but a TV Batman. Fantastic 4 wasnt a bad movie but it was butchered by the producers just so they could keep the rights and where did that get them? Fox sold them to Disney anyway.

In a way you're right. But I think this list was only focusing on major motion pictures. Obviously, there are many worse movies that weren't on this list, but those movies weren't trying to be Hollywood blockbusters, so they can be excused. Independent films and small-budget films aren't expected to be great, except in their own unique way. However, one film that should have been on this list was 'Leonard Part 6'. it's officially considered one of the worst movies ever made.

Mac and Me definitely falls into the category of "so bad, it's good". It's one of those movies that you cannot help but laugh at due to its awkward scenes like the boy falling off the cliff and into the water and that stupid, unfitting dance sequence with Ronald McDonald and the kids at McDonald's. At the 4:18 mark, is number 16 GLITTER (2001). I remember when this movie bombed in the theaters and people stayed away in mass. MARIAH CAREY was having a near nervous breakdown from stardom and life stress. She pleaded for people to leave her alone in her real life. TV’S CONAN O’BRIEN joked in his monologue that if MARIAH truly wanted to be alone she should go to the theater to see her movie GLITTER. That was over 20 years ago and I still remember that funny joke.

What people don't know about Howard the Duck is that George Lucas was trying to add an animation department to Skywalker Ranch. Because it failed [badly], Lucas had to sell the idea. Due to this, the one who bought it was Steve Jobs and then it became Pixar. So, without this movie, Toy Story, The Incredibles, Wall-E etc, would never had been what we know now.
