Yeah, I have the same feeling that WatchMojo did jump in the "Let's find as many faults as possible with the Sonic franchise!" bandwagon. Granted, Sonic IS a franchise that has faults, but Minecraft, FNAF, Call of Duty and Fortnite are a few examples of gaming franchises that will always be more over-popular than Sonic the Hedgehog, even to this day. Other than that, in our frank opinion (I used "our" but didn't include you in this category because obviously, Sonic Dash is one of your favorite Sonic games up to the ranks of the original Sonic trilogy for the Sega Genesis, Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Sonic Triple Trouble), Sonic Unleashed is closer to the greatest Sonic games of all time up to the ranks of all the other ones I mentioned in this comment.

I disagree with dishonorible mentions. Sonic Unleashed, the Black Knight and Dash are really good (Unleashed is Amazing). Also WHY Sonic Schoolhouse ISN'T ON THIS LIST?!? Also Sonic Fighters is a pretty good game. Shadow the Hedgehog is in my opinion better then Sonic 1 port. In my opinion Sonic Labirynt was way worst then 06, Shadow or Shuffle.

Husarius pl, Sonic Boom Rise of Lyric is better than Sonic 06, Shadow the Hedgehog (2005 game), & Sonic 1 Genesis (GBA). Sonic Shuffle and Sonic the fighters are better than Sonic Free Riders. Sonic 3D Blast DX director's cut is better than Sonic 3D Blast (original).Sonic Dash is not a bad game I found it to be playable. Sonic Unleashed is not a bad game even the Wii version I watched some KZbin videos about this game and sometimes there reviews were positive. Sonic Rivals 1 & 2 are not bad games remember. Sonic Blast is better than Sonic 1 Genesis GBA & Sonic Labyrinth because there is a review who didn't called this game bad. C'mon Watchmojo Redux this. P.S: I didn't own these games except Sonic 1 (iOs), Sonic 2 (Android), Sonic CD (Android), Sonic Dash, & Sonic 4 Episode 2.

I respect opinions, but I honestly don't get how Sonic Unleased was hated. Soundtracks were awesome, the cutscenes were longer and better (imo) than freakin Generations, and the story made sense! The people did look a bit off, though, but literally Sonic Unleased was an amazing game. I will be grateful that Sonic Adventure Battle 2 for Gamecube wasn't on it.

I honestly could not play the black knight. When I tried to, my game would keep pausing, even if I didn't press pause. Yes, even when I swung the Wii mote. Before anyone says it's my nunchuck, it's not. I played sonic unleashed for the wii with the wiimote and nunchuck, and it worked just fine there. The game doesn't like me at all

Unleashed however is a fantastic game, yea the werehog was unnecessary, but since it's here i'd like to compliment that they are fun to play and there not "BAD", yea a lot of them can over stay there welcome with some taking as much as 20 mins, but it was still an awesome title, the only real negative I can give this game is the whole collecting sun and moon medals, they were bad.

This was after 2006, even if it wasn't bad (it wasn't. it was pretty good), the hatred and rage were on a high scale to pretty much ignore any good point. Sonic Unleashed gets more crap than it deserves, the day stages are really good, and the night stages were great. They had puzzles that were ok and fun combat, pulse a neat leveling system. Also among the best stories of a Sonic game and the only time Sonic's character actually grows.

Am I the only one who REALLY liked Sonic The Hedgehog (2006)? I think it’s a great game. Yeah, some of the controls are a little inconvenient at times but the plot was kinda cool. Plus, we got to see some of Sonic’s sentimental side and it was really cute watching all that pan out (especially the scene with him and Princess Elise, when the butterfly lands on his nose). I’m actually playing it right now and I’m on the final scene where you have to send Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Rouge, Silver, Shadow and the robot to find the 7 chaos emeralds. All in all, a quality game. Also, Sonic Unleashed was a great game but the concept was a little tacky on Sega’s part. Don’t even get me started on Sonic and the Black Knight - that was an awesome game and I could talk about it all day.

Howling Burd19 a lot of the critics didn’t give sonic unleashed a fair chance, especially since it was the next main stream sonic game after the 06, the game that destroyed sonic’s reputation. So the ambitious decisions of unleashed didn’t sit well with critics. Sonic unleashed actually has a lot of love care and attention put into it. Honestly you don’t need to be a sonic fan to see that this game was meant to be an apology for the atrocity that was 06. Everything from the graphics, to the well written story, hub worlds, music, sprite models, unlock-able treats and even the gameplay (which is debateable for most) were done to the highest quality. It was a phenomenal game with a few minor flaws imo. But people won’t give sonic that credibility irregardless of how well the games do since the stigma of “sonic games are bad” prevents a fair criticism.

Am I the only one who thinks Shadow the Hedgehog was a pretty good game??? Lot's of cool stages, it's a part of the Sonic Adventure storyline, and in the true ending Shadow was a hero.
