Gorgeous art posts (sadly!) get so few comments, while if it’s politics or religion, then it’s like a million “know it all” windbags saying, “Here, hold my beer, I got this!” Bearing in mind, as Oscar Wilde observed, “All advice is BAD, and GOOD advice is FATAL”… perhaps the next time out, do please consider allowing your very beautiful images to linger on screen at least two or three times longer… I know I can “pause” the image, but that’s kind of putsy, especially on a cellphone! But your choice of music is perfect! Do Yoshitoshi next! - XOXOXO! Glenn Jones

Thank you so much for the comment! The feedback is much appreciated, we’ll look to extend the time for each painting, and even include close-ups for some. Stay inspired!

Interesting selection as I would put only about 15 or 20 of the images you have featured into my own ranking of Hasui's top 100. I suppose it is subjective, but certainly most of his pre-earthquake works and the majority of his mid-1920s to early 1930s works are far superior to later pieces. He was a master of snow, rain and night scenes, yet you have almost none in your grouping. Of course, all the images you highlight are wonderful, but I think there are many more that are iconic for collectors of KAWASE Hasui. Thanks for the video though, very nice.
