One my favourite songs ever, tremendously good lyrics, so relatable and honest, and super fun live! Working class anthem, but you have to actually listen to get that...

Absolute fire from a band unfairly overshadowed by Blur and Oasis.

You somehow managed to listen without listening

You didn't seem to get the point. And you didn't seem interested in bothering about getting the point. (That said, of course it's not one of the top 100 songs of all time. But the other 99 ones on that list aren't either.)

Man, this is alright, but never too 100. I’d put half of the Motown catalogue ahead of this.

Why? One of the worst songs ever written

Ok, i can get that on first listen it may not be for you, but i think maybe you should pull up the lyrics and give it a second chance. I noticed you didn't like waiting for the man by velvet underground either, so I'm guessing you're just not into songs with social commentary! But, as i think i said with your V U reaction, i admire that you're prepared to say nah! if you don't like something: there are too many fake gosh wow factors about. That said, it would be interesting if you'd say a bit more about why you don't like something

Agree it’s not top 100 of all time. It was a hit when I was young but it’s not all that. Glad you reacted honestly 👍🇬🇧❤️

Way too "British eccentric" for an American. I loved the Britpop era, but Pulp were never my favourite. Still a million times better than the turgid American rock you listen to.
