Going with the same team currently. The only exception being Trent where I am iffy about still. About the proposed route for Salah over Saka, I would still keep Jota, and instead do Gordon to ESR.

I like the Jota pick over Salah for 5 main reasons- 1) Jota has a very high points ceiling and his point per minute rate is so high that either coming on as a sub or playing less than 90 he is dangerous. 2) He has spent the most time with the new manager vs other attackers and has settled into the new style and has been consistent so far. 3)You get Liverpool attacking coverage without needing Salah and saving £5m which is the price of a reasonable defender. Incredible value. 4) Unless you are ever going to captain Salah over Haaland, the extra 5million you save with Jota is more worth while. 5) For the extra 5million, do we think Salah will heavily outscore Jota so much that you would happily pay the extra 5 for it? No, especially as you will already get liverpool coverage via Jota.

Coverage is nonsense,you just want the player with the most points If a get a player who outscores Jota but i dont have any Liverpool who has the better pick? The only coverage is psychological because you cant bear seeing Liverpool playing and not getting points

Get a player because you think he outscores most picks,not ''because he should be involved in the many goals this great attack will score'' If you can have both okay I got entire Arsenal front there starting ,Diaz,Nunez last season for many weeks and it went horribly I had got several different City attackers ''for coverage'',City scored for fun and they did nothing

@@georgeeffraimidis5610 I don't think coverage is nonesense especially when there is such a golf in price. As an example, if Foden is back with more regular minutes and scoring alot of points, I can see people using that as an opportunity to go off of Haaland and instead getting Foden . The whole point of Coverage is to still take advantage of points opportunity without overspending. In exchange for Salah and Rogers (as an example), you could have Jota and Solanke/Gordon/Fernandes with some cash spare. So while you miss out on Salah the re-balance you get elsewhere can make up for it easily. And ultimately we want the best "Team" that will get us total points, there is no point relying on one player to get all your points if a more balanced team can collectively outscore them for the same total cost.

You are right about spreading the money to get points. However, you are picking players that are not long term picks and that reflects in the fact you will use more transfers. The strategy you take is also a factor

For the Salah draft you can easily fit Saka in i think . Just a suggestion : Solanke to Pedro , Nkunku to 5.5 and Jota to Saka ? Seems quite strong to me eventho you are pretty much locked with 5.5s and you cant be flexible that much

I don’t like Jota because it’s almost booking in a transfer to get rid of him. Even if Jota outscores Salah, it’s not worth going for him unless he outscores him by maybe 10 points extra.

He's a good fit for anyone planning an early wildcard though. If he starts scoring he's hard to drop until he inevitably gets injured.
