The solo from Stranger in a Strange land is probably my all time favorite Maiden solo, and one of my all time favorite solo's ever. I don't know what it is. The entire song has everything i've ever loved about metal summed up in one song. Haunting lyrics, an omnipresent feeling of loneliness and melancholy, killer riffs, and perfect pacing. It's such a perfect song, and the solo is beautiful. It's not too over the top, it's not too sparse. Just so much goodness.

Stranger, wasted years and ROTAM are my three favorite Adrian/maiden solos, so beautifully composed and couldn't be anymore perfect for the songs. What I love about the wasted years solo is how he keeps going into the chorus when Bruce starts singing again, so unique in a solo

i like how you mastered adrian's vibrato, believe it or not it is not that easy as it seems and is fundamental when you play any of his solos, i read once jhonn petrucci saying that he cant do or havent yet achieve the quality of adrian's vibrato so that is telling something.
