That’s the only time we saw the cross, and Kenpachi’s bankai, which can cut through anything, didn’t affect it. It’s likely a reference to the hogyoku, with it being a magical talisman that grants specific wishes of evolution to its user), Lille, Yamamoto(if Yhwach had the almighty when they fought 1000 years ago, something he should have “regained”, if not, he is just above Kenpachi), Ichibei, Ichigo, Aizen, SK Yhwach, and PSK

The problem with Kenpachi is that once his bankai is activated he becomes berserk and his body can't handle his power so if he learns to control his power and wield it he would be on par with Ichigo
