I worked for Samsung when the first 4K TVs came out on the market. I sold the first 4K tv in my market. It cost $9000 and was 65”. It continues to blow my mind that tv prices have come down so much since then.

If you want an analog watch, I don’t recommend getting a Fossil: in my experience they are not much more than a watch with a Chinese movement with brand name. Get a Seiko or a Casio Edit: grammar

Don't get the GoXLR. They stopped supporting the software for it and it has major issues with Win11 and there are much better mixers with up to date software now.

I'm confused, the opal is just an access point, you still need connect it to the primary network to use it. It doesn't create more bandwidth. That being said it's still great as a portable VPN but the statement about ' clogging' is a bit misleading

I would assume the clogging being talked about is clogging of the wireless band the device is using. Less crosstalk if you can have your own router with its own wireless band.

It does create more bandwidth if the modem you connect it to is older gen. Also connect your phone to it and get way more bandwidth to share between say your laptop and a tv stick if you dont trust hotel tvs and such from your phone

Brother is a good brand, but I would never recommend an inkjet, definitely go laser. More up front but huge savings on ink and downtime over the lifetime of unit.

It's really tempting to skip this good advice because manufacturers are literally giving away inkjet printers for the cost of the ink in the box. But they're sticking you in the long run with the high cost of ink cartridges. If you don't print very often, an inkjet cartridge may only last a few prints before the ink gets dried up and unusable. Laser printer toner is already dry and doesn't care how long it sits there unused between prints.

Not sure if it comes with one, but the Blink camera floodlight needs a hub to connect, so add on ~25 dollars if I remember correctly for it to be able to sync up with your phone.

Avoid the GoXLR, they stopped support for it and while it may work now at any point a windows update could just brick it and any 3rd party updates/drivers may never come or even work well.

I bought the Opal for at home use. Just wanted to connect it to the wifi and the plug my xbox directly into it. However, it drops the speed to less than 10% of the download and upload speeds than just connected the xbox to the wifi. Anyone happen to know why that is or how to fix it?

As an IT professional I would not recommend any other consumer or even business grade printer than Epson EcoTank. Initial cost might be a tad higher than the cheapo printers, but the upkeep costs will be much, much lower and the quality is so much better than any other.

@@mrcx6142 yes. I've got the most basic model they had at the time and I have zero worries of it tipping even after 5 years. The only issue I have, which is more my fault, is that the tabletop has a slight bend in the middle now. I think it only happened bc I have a very heavy pc (o11 dynamic XL case, ATX mobo, 1050w 80plus titanium PSU, massive XFX RX 6900xt GPU) that's close to 100lbs on the desk plus two 27" monitors mounted on an extremely heavy monitor high tension spring loaded table clamp mount arms

They did but it's fixed. Someone could access to the thumbnails used in the push notifications. In my opinion nothing to really worry about because since social media there's already a lot of information about us on the internet and I also think most of the time our neighbors are not skilled enough to hack our systems and even if they did, I don't know if they would be interested on doing it to average people 😂

I believe the iwatch is still the only one that does fitness for wheelchair users - wish other smart watches did. That Blink 2 yr battery claim is a joke too, nowhere near - maybe 6 months (which is still good but..). The AMZ TV is not recommended, I have it and the response is very very poor and memory is limited- also alexa goes off randomly - its very much you get what you pay for. Also No, never recommend and inkjet over a laser printer. Lasers are pretty much set it and forget it style. Inkjets are haeavy on the consumables and high maint.
