I originally had Terry in 😀 I even did the voice over for him but then thought Deta Hendman in the women's world's 🤔 he is definitely my 16th thought 😄.

Great video. You should try and find a way into commentating on darts (not sure how?!). There's so much darts being broadcast these days that they need some new voices. I reckon even Paul Nicholson is sick of hearing his own voice now.

Kind of disappointed that Peter Manley wasn't on here. He made the world final 3 times, and he barely won any majors, which makes him all the more underrated

mardle was never even good, he beat phil taylor and people think he was actually good? no he never was and he's an awful pundit aswell. cant stand him on sky sports

He made 5 world simi finals and became BDO world number 1 for a short time. I'd say quite good. I'm not a big Mardel fan, but that's a bit harsh.

Mardle is a great example of charisma and personality blinding people to what was a very average darts player. He never won a SINGLE Major or even TV title across his entire career, despite playing in a vastly weaker era, and had a paltry 3 Player's Championships when those were much easier to win than they are now. His averages and check-out percentage were also unimpressive even for his era, including his famous win over Taylor at the World Championships (92.2 average), which was simply a case of "The Power" having one of his worst games ever at the Worlds more than anything else. Mardle presenting himself as an authority on the game and giving advice to players 100 times better than him, including actual top 10 or top 5 legends like Gary Anderson, is absolutely laughable.

Deta Hedman certainly should be there as frankly she had two great chances to win world titles but couldn't get over the line. Manley should be on the list. On the solely BDO side Darryl Fitton is possibly the best player since the split to not reach a final never mind win it. Doubles were always his problem.

I did originally did have him in, I even did the voice dub but then I thought of Deta Hendman. 😀 It was close between Terry and dimi though but I gave it to dimi because he did win the Matchplay and Terry never was a TV major 😀 its a tough call tbf.

Fair point on Deta Hedman , but still you have Wayne Mardle in this list over Jenks. Jenks has made the premier league semi finals and final 9 telivised finals , a televised nine darter and was a top 8 player on the PDC for over 5 years. Mardles achievements come nowhere near to that. A prime Jenks would beat beat prime versions of most players on this list
