I’d say the m54 is better for tuning cause there’s a lot of NA mods plus they’re super easy to boost. Stock block can’t handle crazy numbers but u can always use an m50 block

Been meaning to ask this, for the bk2 genesis coupe, does the 2.0t have better power in the long run compared to the 3.8?

No not at all, 2.0t rarely ever make it past 150k km. The reality being if you do anything AT ALL to them they blow. 3.8 makes good power and will run 250k km easy. I have a 15 3.8, 13 2.0T, 2010 2.0t. 3.8 bk2 is definitely the best.
