Jasam fans can gtfo calling Liason fans delusional. Some of us may see things that aren't there (not me, I try to be completely objective) but so do they. They like to deny things that happened with Liason or downplay them despite the evidence on film, yet they overlook the shortcomings with their own couple. I'm not going to deny that Jasam has some great qualities, but that doesn't render Liason null. It's just that Jasam isn't nearly as complicated. Jason himself has said that loves both of them, but that's the only thing that's 100% spelled out for us. There's a lot reading between the lines necessary and no two people are going to interpret these things exactly the same. It's not pathetic to want Liason together, even if there is doubt that it will be so. That's only because the writers won't allow it, though they're quite intent on feeding us crumbs to keep us invested. I rooted for Liason so hard in the beginning, but when it looked like they were done for good, I really got on board with Jasam. Then damn if they didn't rekindle the Liason flame after all those years. In the end, I think it more or less comes down to which woman you prefer. Naturally, that's who you want to see win the man. For me, that's always been Liz, even as they are determined to trash her character, because I still see the lovely young lady that she was up until she chose Lucky over Jason, and maybe even a little after that. I just don't like Sam anymore. Kelly and Steve have chemistry, but it's nothing like what he has with Becky. Again, seeing chemistry is about perspective, and if they really didn't have any, there wouldn't be this many people enamored with them.

I have loved Liason. I have always loved Elizabeth's face. She looks like a doll. They used to dress her really cute. They really knew how to bring out her personal as well as acting character. Soaps don't have these intriguiging stories or technical imaginations anymore.

#13 "I Remember You That Night" I love how his voice quivers when he says, " ...I had no idea that someday I'd be in love with you..." Theirs is an amazing history! I never understood her choices in the past..."Lucky needs me..." "Zander needs me..." So many times she turned away from Jason, but the underlying love has always been there. * Shrugs shoulders---I hear it's going to be a JaSam summer. Wonder how that's gonna be... Great moments! I love how their lips sound when they're kissing (lol). As I was watching the Jasam wedding, and the love making scenes after, I felt like they try too hard and it's not as natural. Liason just have a natural chemistry and flow to them that IMO Jasam don't have. They're a dead couple for me, and this Franco mess of a story is ridiculous.

Some of you JASAM fans are hilarious. So the move is to go watch videos of things you don't like. The video isn't even about Liason VS JASAM. Its purely LIASON moments. You saw the title and had to watch it. HAHAHAHA. It is cool not to like them as a couple or you prefer Jason with Sam but to say no chemistry. But that is your opinion. Even Steve B, wanted to pursue a story with the character Liz. I digress hope you guys are enjoying the JASAM chemistry in 2018. (HAHAHAHA)

I feel really bad for Liason fans because writers need to cater to all of their audience. I love Jasam, but the idea that Liason fans never even got weekend on the Island with Jake in some kidnapping plot where they ended up bonding, something deep to hold onto. Hell, enough to fill a few music videos or something, is so disappointing. Its how I feel about Jason/Carly or Lucky/Maxie.. Just sucky. :(

first of all i am a jasam fan and i just wanted to see what the fuss of liason was about. wow these are pretty boring if you ask me. check out jasam's best scenes and you can actually see jason smile and laugh. don't hate on my cuz i can have my own opinion. jasam scenes are so much more exciting and better. and at least when i watch there scenes jason doesn't have bad hair!

I watched this and I tried to feel like, an ounce of chemistry here and its just nothing. Unlike JaSam, which has like loads of chemistry and passion and fun. Is it that Liason just wasn't fun? She was whiny and he was just so rigid around her...am I the only one that sees that?

Actually they had tons of lighthearted great moments (especially in the early days but even when they were seeing each other behind everyone's back they had fun at their safe house). The problem was that the writers didn't really give them a chance to be a viable couple. They just teased. So, it ended up being all angst which is the same thing that happened with Jasam. I just couldn't get into Sam/Jason and they had tons of angst. Their fun stuff was few and far between too. Most of the time, Sam looked constipated like she was scared to do anything but what she thought Jason wanted. I think most of what they had was sexual. She cried a lot. She lost her personality with him and most of the time Jason put Carly and Sonny in front of her. I found them very forced and it was unbelievable to me that he would forgive her after sleeping with Rick and what she did re: Jake and the aftermath of that (all the bitchiness and meanness). Jason settled for Sam because he couldn't have Liz.

***** I feel like the Liason coupling was an experiment. Their chemistry was forced and they never made sense. How did/could Elizabeth fit into his life in any way? Why would he try to have a kid with Sam and take on the responsibility with her and Sonny's baby but when it came to Liz, Jake had to be in Lucky's care? The fact that he devoted so much of himself to Sam and then he ditches it all for a girl he has to sneak around with? It was just poorly written to say the least. I think the way that Sam explained why she did what she did with Jake to Jason, he could understand it and trust that it wouldn't happen again because they knew each other so well. I think the writers eventually ended Jason's life with him being with Sam is because how well it fit. It seemed out of character for him to be in a relationship like this...IMO But I have honestly tried to understand this pairing because I can see him and Carly, him and Courtney, but this just seems so weird...

Karolyn Downs Experiment? Jason and Liz have had an ongoing relationship/friendship since the 90's. Clearly it resonated with enough fans that they begged for this pairing and the writers decided it was worth doing again. To each his own, I guess. I never thought Steve and Kelly had any chemistry. I got tired of watching Sam sit on the couch in the penthouse and follow Jason around like a puppy.

You know the thing is I really liked JaSam as a couple the first time around and was really mad when the show broke them up, but later changed my mind because the emotion between liason was just so real. When they first developed feelings for each other Liz was still tied to Lucky and Jason came and went out out of her life, I just never really got invested in them, but once they were really together I thought they were truly beautiful. I know the writers have made it so Sam is the love of his life but he never looked at anyone the way he looked at Liz. He and Sam, while I do believe were really in love never had the same kind of raw emotion you see between Liz and Jason. I actually said on another site what people are saying here that maybe it is just the chemistry between the two actors at work, but I think it was kind of stupid of the writers to waste that in favor of Sam and Jason. I've watched GH forever and way back in the day my 3 favorite couples ever were Jasam, the original LL2, and Sonny and Brenda, but the emotion between Liason was just too powerful not to suck me in. It took along time, but eventually I preferred them to Jasam and LL2. I don't think it's feesible with the directions their stories have taken for Jason and Liz to ever get back together, but like I said I think that was a total mistake on the writers part. Of course now BM is Jason and I don't really care.

+Misty Hustad I first want to say thank you for taking the time to actually really see and invest in what Liason is about. Many Jasam fans don't even bother to try and see and understand what Liz meant to Jason or even look at the possibility of him loving her because their favorite is Sam, and think Jason has only ever loved one person. So thank you for seeing how amazing Liason actually is. Second I completely agree on how you said even though Sam and Jason were in love, they never had that raw emotion that happens with Jason and Liz, and how he never looked at anyone, even Sam, like how he always looked at Liz. I completely agree. Now, I'm nowhere near a Jason and Sam fan, in fact I never really liked them as a couple. However, In my opinion, Jason does love Sam, anyone can see that, and you can tell he loves her very much, but, he's never loved anyone as much as he's loved Elizabeth.There's just always been this certain spark between them, ever since they first started talking to each other when Jason saved Liz in Jake's bar. They from the start just always had this certain connection. They both knew what it was like to feel and be alone, and they've both known what it felt like to feel the pain of loss (Liz with Lucky "dying" in that fire, and Jason losing Michael to AJ and dealing with Robin's betrayal, and the stuff with Carly) and were able to build a strong friendship and deep trust because of their similar experiences. Liz was unlike any woman he'd ever been with. Her life was completely different than his, and he's always felt a certain pull towards that. One of my favorite lines from vintage Liason is when Jason tells Liz what she brings to him. He said that she was beautiful and perfect and that she makes him see things that he's never even noticed until she pointed them out to him. And how she had a lot of dreams and that that was good because he hardly had any, so he could then believe in hers. That right there, kind of proves my point, she was so completely different than him, but yet that is what he loved about her. She was able to give him things he's never really been able to have, or want. She was the one to bring out all of his desires and dreams he'd never really let himself want or believed he could never really have. She even helped him with his brain injury problems, and made him want to try and see things he couldn't really see anymore. Before Liz, he would get angry that he couldn't see pictures and paintings and all the things he normally would have been able to, so he wouldn't really have any pictures or paintings up. But yet when he met Liz, she helped him try and see her paintings by explaining them to him, and he liked that. And that made him want to see things, pictures and all of that because she would have so much passion for her art and he wanted to be able to see it and experience it with her. He loved when she talked about her art and how she would "get a rush from her art" as he put it. And later because of her, he was able to. He even said to Liz years later during their NOP that whenever he'd be on the road and he's go to some church or museum he'd see an amazing painting and he'd think of her. Without Liz's passion for art, and her passion to want to share that with Jason, he never would have been willing to want to try and see pictures and things the way he used to again. The way he looks at her is another thing. He looks at her with so much passion and emotion. He always has. Even when he couldn't admit it to others or himself, but he's always looked at Elizabeth a certain way that he's never done with anyone else. Somehow she's the only one to have brought out the immediate emotions in him. You could just see it in his eyes, the moment that he'd see her, his eyes would just fill with raw emotion and unconditional love. He loved her more than any woman he's been with, and unfortunately, he could never be with her, because she was just the risk he wasn't willing to take. He loved her so much that he couldn't put her at risk at all. So instead he settled and chose someone who was a bit more suited for his lifestyle (Sam). But even though he chose and settled for Sam, he still on a huge level never really got over Elizabeth. And that's been shown throughout the years, well while Steve was playing Jason anyway.. But, still, on some level Jason and Liz always chose each other, whether it was on a friendship level, or on a romantic level, even their s/o could see that (Courtney, Sam, Ric, Lucky). Everyone could see that they've always had this history that just couldn't seem to go away. And that's one of the things I've loved about Liason. That no matter who they were with, or what was happening to keep them apart, they always seemed to come back into each others lives somehow. There's still so much I want to say and honestly I can go on forever about Liason, haha. I'm sorry this is such a long reply, I just really like it when people talk about Liason in a good way. Especially if it's a Jasam fan who likes/loves Liason too. There aren't many Jasam fans who find them a good couple and won't talk smack about them...
