WW is a given. Secret Six is essentially suicide squad. It is crazy to think this just came out when DC already has 2 live action and 2 animated SS movies. Batgirl is a N52 omnibus. DC seems to be very generous giving omnibus treatment to N52 runs.

These stories built a relatable world for Superman, giving him soap operatic stories, fleshed out his supporting characters and created a believable Metropolis. The writers were at the top of their game and it was a list of who’s who in the comic world including John Byrne, Dan Jurgens, Jon Bogdanove, Roger Stern, Jerry Ordway and Louise Simonson.

Can’t wait for that Superman Triangle Era Omnibus! Finally! The triangle era gave Superman realistic stories, fleshed out his supporting characters, and made Metropolis a believable city. Not to mention the writers were at the top of their game and it was a list of who’s who in the comic medium. That’s why people are excited.

For the triangle era it's not so much one big story arc or storyline going for hundreds of issues, it's more like a time where all the books were connected; sometimes by a major story, sometimes through a minor thread running through the stories. The triangle refers to the covers of each issue that had a number on it letting you know the order of the books if you were so inclined to read everything. It wasn't required for you to read every book to understand what was going on as big stories that ran through all the books were once in a while deals. Most of the time it was separate stories or two issue stories in their own title. What's special about the triangle era is it felt like a lived in world. The writers and artists took what Byrne set up and took it to the next logical step. We get a lot of Superman but we also get a lot of the supporting cast. Things like Cerberus, Cadmus, Hank Henshaw and little Keith get introduced and built up over time. What seems small now pays off big later. But even when something is paid off later and you might've missed the issue that introduced something, they'd explain it so you wouldn't be lost. It's an omnibus I'm looking forward to.

I can't understand...how we got a Batman Murderer and Fugituve omnibus BEFORE a Batman Contagion and Legacy omnibus? That's literally the only big events from the 90's that we're missing. P.S. the fact that we got the start of Zdarsky's Daredevil run in omnibus but we're still missing on Nocenti's when her run is miles better than Waid's, Soule's or Zdarsky's astonishes me

5, 6, 8 and 9 are ones I'm eyeing up. Just past the year mark of my collecting/reading so there's plenty of older reprint titles coming out that I'm targeting too and new characters keep catching my interest every month

Maddog, is it worth getting the Hellblazer by Ennis omni? Or wis it likely they'll do these in order? what volume would Ennis run be in? Volume 2?

Based on the solicited contents, Delanos run will be 2 volumes. Delano only wrote about 40 regular issues plus a few annuals/ogns so I thought they could have fit it all in one. I'm still not sure the contents listed or the page count is finalised but wait and see. Ennis takes over directly from Delano so it carries on from there. I wouldn't bet on DC releasing all of Hellblazer in order though. They haven't announced that they're doing that and they have plenty of previous of abandoning collections before so my advice would be to get the Ennis volume now while it's still available. If they did collect it all on omnibus I'd upgrade and sell my tpb collection, which I have the full set of
