When it comes to reporting corruption in Africa, I think you should not be specific in mentioning the most and least corrupt countries. Rather say Africa is corrupt, because the majority of leaders in Africa are corrupt, thinking of their own pockets rather than thinking about the future of the country and their people. Most African leaders are corrupt to the core, they even do it publicly without shame. They have broken the laws of their constitution and made bribery a normal. Lawlessness has elevated in Africa.

South Africa has systems in place line the public protector, NPA, Human Rights Commission and so forth. We also have free and fair elections. Not perfect, but at least there are attempts to curb corruption. Most African countries just pay lip service without doing anything.

Many of these researchers have been to many African countries as part of their research. Every countries have it's corruption, but some are worst than others. You haven't been to many African countries. Ghana is not nearly as poor as you think it is. Some of these countries don't even have tourist attraction in there. You need to stop making assumptions just because you're Ghanaian. Many people from other countries do travel to Ghana and sometimes even move there.
