Gryphon Tea Room was fantastic; the atmosphere was great, and the food was good. My wife said that the salad she had was the best she ever had, I'd never seen her so excited about a salad before XD

As a Savannah native, I disagree with most of your choices. All you’ve done is highlight the more kitschy establishments thrown in with a few of the better restaurants to lend credence to your personal favorites. A perfect example of go home and try again.

@@jskr187I’m from Savannah. 2 crack eggs is a great breakfast joint, they make their own biscuits. Order the crab Benedict. I’m a fan of Juicy Seafood if you like seafood boils.

My girlfriend and I spent a week in Savannah, as a gift from her husband. We loved Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room! I came home with her cookbook. We enjoyed a Beignet at Hueys on the River, we visited many restaurants during our time there and thoroughly enjoyed every one of them! l

Bull Street Tacos has some of the best tacos in town. Midtown, the best sandwiches and awesome bands on Saturday night, Midtown Deli the best bagels and deli sandwiches. Castaway, some of the best fish tacos and fish and chips, for bbq there is Wileys on Wilmington Island

missed it because its a its a tourist trap... like most of the recommendations. Husk and the Grey are the only real legit places on this AI list. others, like big bon and hitch are mediocre at best. source: I live in Savannah in the historic district.

Indeed; it really doesn’t highlight real Savannah food; lots of these places came in from outside. On the River Try Vic’s on the River; Vic was a local guy and understood Savannah native food.

Savannah, GA is quite possibly the most over-rated city in the country - bug-infested and totally boring! Go to Tybee , or better yet Charleston/Folly/Kiowah.
