🇬🇧 Top 15 Stadiums in London

London is a football mecca. In fact, that one statement would suffice as a description for this material. In the capital of the United Kingdom, footie lovers have plenty to choose from. In every part of the city, there is a club that boasts a huge fan base, even at the lower league levels. In the Premier League alone, there are as many as seven London clubs!
The editors at StadiumDB.com have compiled a list of the 15 biggest venues along the Thames, including one that was built right on the banks of the river.
Interestingly, the 2 biggest venues on our list do not host any club on a daily basis. Can you guess which ones we mean? No self-respecting fan of stadium architecture will have any trouble answering this riddle.
So let's get on the tube and embark on a tour of London's arenas. Mind the Gap!

London,by far, has more stadium seats per capita than any other city in the world. And in addition to these 15, you even missed a few. The two stadiums at Wimbledon, and Watfords stadium.

London now showing off, bragging about it's massive array of stadiums, and with bragging rights deserved, they have plenty of NEW STADIUMS, but they have unfortunately DEMOLISHED SOME CLASSIC ARENAS, these are some of the most historic stadiums in England, some of the most historic stadium's in the World, I'll give you just a few examples, of the kind of FOOTBALL CATHEDRALS CUT DOWN, and later replaced by a much more sterile collection of Stadiums, where in the past, ELECTRIC ENERGY WAS BEING PRODUCED, now you have a much more tempered "generation of energy", and it has everything to do with THE DESIGN, THE SHAPE, THE COLOR SCHEME, THE SEATING, THE STANDS, THE ROOFS, THE GAPS BETWEEN STANDS, THE LOCATION OF THE STADIUM, THE HISTORIC EMOTIONAL CONNECTION TO THE STADIUM, ETC. Just in OLD LONDON TOWN, there are three very high-profile examples........................................................ .......................................................................................................................1. HIGHBURY PARK - ARSENAL'S OLD HOME GROUND, a classic stadium, and scene to many of their greatest games, their greatest teams, their invincible's team, a true "FOOTBALLING STADIUM" - whereas the Emirates Stadium IS NOT, the old Highbury standing for 93 years before being demolished, the "move" not such a bad move, not too far away, except there are SOME QUESTION MARKS around the design of the actual stadium. The old Highbury, processed into high-end luxury apartments, some 650 units, some of them with private ground-floor courtyards, directly on the "pitch" or on the outside of the stands, the ART DECO West & East "stands" left for the facade, the pitch, or playing surface of highbury, turned into a series of hedges, bushes, walkways, covered tunnels, sun-roofs for some underground area, benches, plenty of benches, shrubs, miniature trees, high grasses, maybe wheat or possibly oats, being grown on the old "Highbury" Football pitch, a hallowed ground for Gooner fans. 2. WHITE HART LANE - TOTTENHAM'S OLD HOME GROUND, another true classic of Footballing grounds, the stadium stood for 118 tears before being felled and the new ground built directly next to it, so it was not far to move, the old WHL, was not in the architectural league of Highbury, no Art Deco stands, no terrazzo floors, no bronze cannon motifs, but the stadium was built for watching football, the new ground, perhaps the most expensive in the World, at $1.5 BILLION, it was NO EXPENSE SPARED, it also stands with a couple of "steel trees" each with an 88-design, holding up the Southern Stand (SS) I think located on HIGH ROAD, the Southern Stand, has a giant "Cockerel" atop the stand, and the roof itself looks a little bit like Andy Capp, the designs has a range of "interesting" motifs, and the stadium is sponsored by BEAVERTOWN BREWERIES, no-one's ever heard of them, they are like phantoms floating in the wind, they have NO HISTORY, and are very unlikely to ever build a history, as the people who own them, don't drink beer, and the people who drink beer, don't particularly like them, or their range of pop-color candy beers, headless & additive laced, for the lager drinkers in the UK, go for the tried & tested, traditional breweries, people who work there take pride in their work, they have been around for centuries, and want to produce a quality product for the people. *NOTE: Both the North London clubs, Arsenal & Tottenham Hotspurs, are traditional rivals and play the famous North London Derby, and both have had their home grounds demolished and re-built, the question that I propose to the "punters" (don't punt, as in gambling, with real money) DID THE LARGE JEW-ISH POPULATION OF NORTH LONDON HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE "RE-LOCATIONS ??" REMEMBER VERY WELL, THEY ARE SUPER "ORGANIZED" INTO "GANGS" THEY CALL THEM A "RELIGIOUS SECT" JUDAISM, THE BIGGEST FARCE OF ALL, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND ALL ENGLISH, AND ALL EUROPEANS, GET CRACKING, ORGANIZE ................CO-OPS. 3.Last but not least........ UPTON PARK - THE OLD HOME GROUND OF WEST HAM UNITED, the old ground in the East End of London - another classic of Football, they also demolished the ground, sold the land and all the history for a measly 40 Million pounds, the old ground had plans to rip down one stand, and re-build with a massive new stand, allowing the fans to stay put in their traditional home ground, the "move" to the Olympic stadium - a dud deal for the hammers fans, they are poorer off than their North London rivals, as at least they stayed within a stones throw, the new Olympic stadium - "desperately needed a host" - and there was no takers, so the jew-ish owners of West ham, who previously cut their teeth on Birmingham FC, the GOLDFISH "Goldie" whose deal is starting to look fishy, where they even named the neighboring suburb nothing less than FISH ISLAND, you can go to the ground and do limitless laps around the ground, the commentators doing "around the grounds", the old-school West Ham Hammers fans, looking unimpressed, their classic stadium making way for 838 apartments, 25% of which is said to be allocated for low-cost housing, that's what they say, probably only people of certain demographics allowed to live in those spanking, brand-new homes. UPTON PARK WAS BEHEADED, JUST LIKE ANNE BOLEYN, and Yemenite Dave Sullivan swung the AXE, the spiritual homeland of the Hammers, demolished, the fans corralled westward towards the 2012 Olympic Stadium, the poor hammers, devoid of their Upton Park, banished to Fish Island -something similar happen to the Atletico Madrid fans, they were coerced into moving from their excellent location of the Calderon to the 2012 "Olympic Bid" by Madrid (who lost by 1 vote to London) the "Colchoneros" corralled Eastward towards the WANDA METROPOLITANO, the working-class Atletico Madrid fans unimpressed, the parallels are near identical between the two sets of fans. NOTE: Hardships can happen, bad-luck can eventuate, even demotions, loss of players, loss of form, loss of identity, and the SALE OF THE CLUB TO PARASITES, but the CLUB ALWAYS SURVIVES---------------------------------------> THESE "MOVES" ARE PRACTICALLY PERMANENT, AT LEAST FOR A WHILE, EVERY CLUB MUST HAVE A SOCIAL GROUP THAT SPECIALIZES IN THE HISTORY OF THEIR RESPECTIVE CLUBS, ANY AND ALL OF THEIR ASSETS, THE INCOMING PLAYERS, COACHES, ADMINISTRATORS, STAFF SHOULD ALL BE PUT UNDER THE MICROSCOPE, AND ANY "MOVES", THAT INCLUDES MOVES LIKE "RE-LOCATIONS" MUST BE STRICTLY _-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_BENEFICIAL FOR EVERYBODY, NOT JUST THE FAKE JEW OR ARAB OWNERS, WHERE THEY DON'T CARE FOR THE CLUB, THEY WANT REAL ESTATE........ *LET THESE CAUTIONARY TALES (CT'S) BE A WAKE-UP CALL FOR ALL OF US, FOR THOSE "SMALLER CLUBS" DON'T LET YOURSELVES GET PUSHED AROUND BY A BUNCH OF POOFY, CASHED-UP BOGANS FROM "OIL & GAS LANDS"
