First off, thank you headmusic for compiling this list. You guys do a fantastic job of introducing listeners to music we missed the first time around. I do think they go out of their way to find obscure numbers when there are "better" songs by the same bands for example. "I Will Follow" by U2 (1980) "Enola Gay" and "Electricity" by OMD. "So Long" by Fischer Z. "Dreaming of Me" by Depeche Mode. No Psychedelic Furs? No Yaz? "Love Plus One" by Haircut 100? But they have like 4 songs by Prefab Sprout? Hmmmmm - overall great job though

If you notice, most of these songs are from British bands, most of these songs were mainstream in the UK and a large part of Europe, also in Oceania, I would say that more than 100 from here were top 20 hits in the UK.

I find out it's really great that in USSR we didn't hear this crazy cheap stupid songs and performers from US/UK of 80th. At this years we've being prefer Italian Disco, Europop, Albano & Ramina Power, Toto Cutugno, Adriano Celentano, Modern Talking, Joy, CC Catch etc 🙃
