Single player all the way for me, too. The problem with "most" open world games is they are too long and grindy. I prefer short linear games. 8-15 hour mark is the sweet spot for me.

OG gamer that is just back into gaming- last left off playing vice city & manhunt on ps3 over 20+ years ago lol, i now have a 65' high end tv & ps5 pro, ikno ikno pc way 2go but i dont feel like im tech savy enough to constantly tinker & upgrade etc , i recently downloade Atari greatest hits 1&2 ( played 2600 as a kidc) - omg the graphics so vile & horrific i couldn't play any game 4more than 30 secs , just amazed how good these games look but it seems alot of them are in grey black murky smokey settings & imo doesn't take off the cpu ability in a pc or ps5 pro - i do like the fps zombie genre ( ikno ikno alot of u og gamers are sick of them, but even the ps4 old fps are "new" 2me - is it true of game studios( develpoers ) have gone woke & dei ? I read alot of comments from internet random casuals that gaje saying its true & that imo is a shame - alot of these upcoming games look cool AF, it is also true that these games nowadays almost ALWAYS get delayed or pushed back for many months , sometimes years? None of them are ultra realistic. Its easy to distinguish from reality due vax figure- like look of characters models (especially "kaukasian" race). Only photorealistic games in this matter are Cyberpunk 2077 (path traced), new Indiana Jones (path traced) and this failed Star Wars game (on secret "Outlaw" settings).
