Thanks for including Shrine's Legacy on the list! It's planned to also come to Switch asap after launching on PC. :) -Alan

@@schorleschorschoise Officially, we're aiming for later this year. But it's looking like it might be pushed back to early 2025. Thanks for your patience and excitement! I promise we're working very hard behind the scenes to deliver a quality game to fans. :)

"Most of these don't appear to be Zelda-likes at all. Yasha is a roguelite. Desohutner is merely a top-down action game with procgen. Duel Corp even says in its trailer you included that it's a Soulslike... and it has a class system. Littlelands does look like it fits in the Zelda genre. The Plucky Squire is an adventure/platformer that appears to dance between many genres at once. Sword of Shrine looks pretty close to the Zelda genre but has numerical stats for combat, so seems a bit more on the action-RPG side. Last Moon is an action-RPG with skill trees and gear and doesn't appear to feature dungeons in its Steam description anywhere. Kloa - Child of the Forest is an action-RPG with gear upgrades. It doesn't appear to have dungeons or dungeon items. Outrider Mako appears to be an action game where the goal is to collect various random materials for orders. No dungeons. Kingsgrave claims to be Zelda-inspired, which is a good start. It looks like it doesn't have dungeons, but it at least has a clear focus on puzzles. The Girl from Arkanya is a Zelda-like. Vessels of Decay is just an action-RPG. Spindle does claim to be a proper Zelda-like! It's got dungeons. Fountains is an action-RPG with stats and number-gear, not a Zelda-like. Aethyr is a full-blown stats-RPG that appears in its trailer to make the player spend time leveling stats like "strength" and crafting various copies of tiers of helmets to wear; not a Zelda-like. Elementalis is a Zelda-like. Mina the Hollower seems more like a top-down Castlevania than a Zelda game. Moonshell Island I'm a bit unclear on because it has item slots in its UI, but the trailer, screenshots, and description don't really give a clear indication of what they're used for. Dungeons aren't mentioned. We really need to stop labeling any top-down game with real-time combat a "Zelda-like". It's so disappointing to have someone tell me they found 18 games that I'm supposed to love, but over half of those games are full of healthbars and gear with stats on it; and hardly a dungeon to be seen. Is what makes Zelda Zelda really not that clear to people? Dungeons and dungeon items at bare minimum." From r/zeldalikes

It's a shame that so many of these indie makers haven't also put games on Android as premium options. Someone should totally compete with Google play, if all the indie makers got together, they could crush Google play games. The Snap dragon chips are very capable. I think my S24 could run a these easy.

Why do every one of these seem to be “procedurally generated” or something like it? Zelda is ANYTHING but procedural generation. No thanks 👎
