In this video I talk about why pelvic floor health is so important during pregnancy and postpartum and I share 2 simple pelvic floor exercises that you can do to strengthen your pelvic floor and learn how to relax it for an easier childbirth. Pelvic floor exercises are also called Kegel exercises and it is recommended that you set aside time to do them every day, especially in your second and third trimester and 24 hours after giving birth - so long as you are able to pee normally. There are other Kegel Exercises for Women which I will cover in another video but please get started with these now!
